Dogpatch

I brought my dog here once a few months ago. When i was walking in to drop my dog off i heard the owner yelling at one of their own dogs for peeing on something. I felt funny leaving my dog but against my better judgement I did. I went back to check on my dog and could hear the owner swearing at the top of her lungs at a dog on the table, calling it a "f*cking @$$hole" and could hear her getting rough with the poor thing on the table. I was mortified. I went back to my car without anyone knowing I witnessed this event. Luckily it wasn't my dog that she did this to but I feel horrible for the poor dog that had to go through that. I will never never never go back. Someone that mean should not be working with animals. If she wasn't so intimidating I would have reported her.

Our regular groomer Vanessa was out, so the owner Linda said that she would be able to cut our dog's toenails in the meantime while we waited for a full grooming appointment with Vanessa. My dog Lexi has high anxiety, but usually does very well with Vanessa. However, she was squirming for Linda, and you could visibly see Linda getting frustrated. Linda stopped attempting to soothe Lexi and started snapping at her saying "knock it off" and "stop". Linda then asked another employee for help, the other employee agreed and asked what Linda needed, and Linda replied "a gun". This is extremely unprofessional customer service and completely uncalled for. If this is how Linda behaves in front of clients, imagine how she is when an animal is left alone with her? I left the building in tears once I made sure that Lexi was okay (Linda cut her toenail too short and it was bleeding). Upon returning home my mother called Linda and found out that she was the owner. Linda did not have an explanation for her behavior and proceeded to hang up on us after we stated we would be filing a complaint.

I enjoy taking my Baby to DOGPATCH! Jamie and Linda are awesome and very professional. My Baby is never crated or caged she always smells great for a long time. Also it is very clean and these ladies only do one dog at a time not like other places. So I know my pet is getting the best care ever and my Baby loves going there.
