Tidewater Emblems is a family owned and operated screen printing company established in 1962. Through two generations, Tidewater Emblems has maintained a reputation for quality products and services at competitive pricing. Located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Tidewater Emblems services Residential and Commercial clients and services accounts both locally as well as World Wide. The types of decals produced include both inside and outside facing window decals, bumper strips, parking decals, parking control decals, military and squadron zappers, and retail quality stickers. All decals are printed on a variety of substrates including white or yellow vinyl, clear polyester, brushed or bright silver polyester, clear static vinyl, bright gold polyester, and specialty films such as glitters and prismatics. Since all decals are screen printed, they can "weather" for several years outdoors. Safety decals are printed on either a white or photoluminescent background. Decals are a weather resistant vinyl and come with a permanent adhesive for durability. An order form and a descriptive page may be downloaded from the "order forms" button. The order form may be filled out and faxed or phoned into Tidewater Emblems for prompt delivery. Tidewater Emblems has been producing sublimation cloth emblems since 1979. These patches are produced by printing paper transfers and then dying the image into polyester fabric using heat and pressure. The emblems are then finished with an over-edge stitched border. This process provides brilliant colors and fine detail. Using the sublimation process, name tags backed with black loop Velcro is produced. These are produced for organizations in bulk as well as for individuals. The standard is the popular "Army Aviation name tag" that features a silhouette of the helicopter on the tag.
