Intraoral cameras are the fastest and most effective way for our doctors to show patients what is happening in their mouths and help you understand our recommended treatments. By seeing what our dentists see, our intraoral cameras are a great addition to dental x-rays and easier for our patients to relate to.
Oral Cancer Screening
We already know that oral health is imperative to good overall health. Additionally, oral cancer screening is imperative to overall health. Our experienced dentists perform oral cancer screening for patients to check for signs of oral cancer in a patient’s mouth as early as possible. The earlier we find the presence of oral cancer, the faster we can treat it and you can move on from your diagnosis. At Vestal Dental, we want to find cancerous cells as quickly as possible when they are still easy to remove and long before they’ve had a chance to spread and cause other health issues in the process.

Teeth Cleaning
Your children need not worry about their dental appointments. We like to begin seeing your children when they are around 1 year of age or have 8 teeth. This is what we like to call early prevention, and it is crucial to the overall health of you children’s mouth. We have a different approach to dental cleanings and check-ups for every age, and we tailor our appointments to each child.
Fluoride Treatment
Dental Sealants
Another of the services we provide to our smallest patients is dental sealants. So important for a healthy mouth, we use sealants to protect teeth from cavities. We place this white resin on permanent molars to make them more resistant to cavities. Another service we provide our children is digital X-Rays, and not just because kids think they’re cool. This allows us to see inside the mouth in the most accurate manner possible, ensuring we do not miss anything that might need our attention.

Fillings
To be quite honest, white fillings are far more attractive and safer than the old amalgam fillings. Silver fillings are noticeable and unattractive, and it’s far more difficult to see under them to see if tooth decay is growing and causing other problems.
Resin Composite
Made from many different materials, our dental professionals will take a look at your mouth and your oral health to determine which is right for you. General Dentistry
Dr. Nolan Robinson was born and raised in the Southern Tier, and is proud to be serving our hometown community. He is a graduate of nearby Hobart College, where he earned his bachelor of science in chemistry and was a two-year captain for the football team. Dr. Robinson began his career in dentistry at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated magna cum laude and as a member of the OKU National Dental Honor Society. He then completed an Advanced General Dentistry Residency at The Ohio State University and remained in Columbus, Ohio with a private practice for over a year before returning to the Binghamton area.
