Employment Discrimination
SLG provides a full range of services related to government and internal investigations, including assisting clients in formulating comprehensive plans to address potential violations of applicable law. We also deal with governmental and internal investigations in export law, employment discrimination, immigration, and criminal cases. Our attorneys take a proactive approach in government investigations; where it is likely to improve our clients’ results, we regularly draft position statements and voluntary disclosures, and work with regulators and government authorities to achieve sensible outcomes that help clients keep moving forward.
Employment Contract
A client approached SLG with a particularly urgent problem. They believed that a former employee had, in violation of an employment agreement, set up a business with a competitor, utilizing hard-won trade secrets and confidential information. After confronting this former employee, it appeared to the client that resolving the matter outside of court would not be an option. The SLG Litigation Group quickly mobilized to file a Complaint and a Motion for Preliminary Injunction in Federal Court.
Employment Litigation
Employment disputes can have destructive effects on both businesses and employees, but at SLG, we aim to change that. Our trusted employment law attorneys are dedicated to resolving disputes between employers and their employees as efficiently as possible so everyone can get back to work.
Severance Agreement
Companies and their executives move on all the time. Sometimes, the executive leaves for greener pastures. Other times, a deteriorating dynamic or other interpersonal issues lead to a mutual parting of ways. Often, however, broader economic or strategic factors facing the company or reasons specific to the executive’s supposed performance drive an employer’s decision to end an executive’s time with the company. Regardless of why an executive employment relationship ends, the how it ends- the terms of a severance package – will play a critical role in the executive’s financial future and ability to pursue other lucrative positions.
SLG led the way, deciphering local and state regulatory and licensing requirements, negotiating relevant engineering procurement and construction contracts, and drafting and negotiating contracts for the use of subcontractors on the projects. Our responsive, business-minded guidance ensured that our client got the best deals possible, and would be well protected in the event of potential disputes.

We identify your short-term and long-term objectives and help you maximize your investment and minimize costs.
