        Overall

        The original sign-up and installation appeared to go fine. My installation included a new thermostat. Unfortunately, when the cold weather hit the heat would not work. I thought it was my furnace so I spent $99 on a service call to find out that the thermostat that Nationwide installed was bad. When I called Nationwide, they said the thermostat was under warranty but they would still have to charge me $50 for the service call because there was only a 90-day warranty on the installation (which was up 5 days ago). They did reduce it to $30 but would not cover any cost of the unnecessary visit by the furnace repair company. I'm very disappointed with this stance. Basically I had to spend $130 to fix a problem caused by their faulty equipment.
