Love El Caracol food. Come here all the time with my family. We love to order pupusas, my favorite one is queso con loroco. We also love menudo on the weekends. And I would recommend you to try their tostadas de camarones and carne asada plate.

Nice service. Worst ever beef fajita plate with unripe pink sliced tomato. Some plates in my group were okay, they said. Not impressed and won't return.
Returning to this location for the second time since relocating back to the area. We were happy with our first experience while sitting in the restaurant. So here I am getting takeout!
This is one of the rare places that has excellent prices considering the large portions. I was really impressed with the food presentation and most importantly, the taste of the traditionally made Mexican dishes. On top of all this, the ambience was lovely and every staff member there had excellent customer service and great attitudes. This place is one of those gems that only come along every so often.
First time here. The quality of the food is fair to good. Plating of the food is okay but the quantity is very little and short. For a Mexican food restaurant it doesn't fit the bill. This place lacks the Mexican feel for the food and it's missing the most important component. No Lome or lemons for the food. The salsa bar needs a little more. The plastic utensils forks are horrible for eating way too small. Everything is cheap no frills place the Asian lady is not coordinated. The staff well they fell short. The gentleman older man with gray hair who assited comes off harsh. He needs to improve he scalded his employee Sunny in front of us. Not good for his reputation bad management skills. Overall this place get 3 stars from us and that was generous.
Food was good, service was okay, the guy manager was really nice, the only thing that bothered me was there was a young female worker wearing booty shorts...really inappropriate work uniform
Solid Mexican restaurant in downtown Vacaville. This is a place away from the outlet madness and has good Mexican food. There carne asada is flavorful and the guacamole Bowl we got seemed to be never ending.
One of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The service is fast and you get tasty food at a reasonable price.
After reading a number of reviews I decided to try. I ordered the carne asada tacos and found the meat tasteless. The salsas were great, especially the green. I would not return to this restaurant.
I went to the 'newer' Murillo's on Monte Vista. The service was lackluster, as was the food. I had a tamale plate, and although the tamale masa was very good, better than most I've tried, the meat filling was dry and tough, and unidentifiable! The beans were very watery, and the rice was just average. Since most Mexican restaurants serve complimentary chips and salsa, I was really put off by Murillo's charging extra for theirs. I also thought they are a bit overpriced. I doubt I will ever return.
