Shady business, I would stay away. Owner is less than honest with customers and doesn't follow through with promises.

Take the bus before you take Prestigious! I went with this company because I waited too long to book a real limo company. Lesson learned.
The driver showed up looking like he'd slept in the cheap suit he was wearing and proceeded to act like a complete jerk all night. I honestly had the feeling he resented his clientele.
When he wasn't acting like a tough guy and challenging everything the men in our party said, he was being lecherous and creepy with the women. We almost hated to stop the limo anywhere because we knew it would force us to interact with the driver. At least when we were inside the car, we could just keep the partition up so he couldn't constantly inject himself into our conversations.
We were trying to enjoy a very special day with the most important people in our lives and our limo driver nearly ruined it. Honestly - walk, ride a bike, take the bus, driver separate cars - just don't hire prestigious.

Provided by SuperpagesI am my wife from the first time we spoke to the owner was very impressed. We booked the H-2 the same day. The event was for my daughters wedding. We had more compliments on the H-2 and all wedding party was very happy with the room inside--- there was more than enough room for everyone. We also reserved the H-2 for my sons wedding in Feb. 2011. I would strongly recommend this limo service to anyone that would be looking. In all honesty my wife and did check out other services and this was by far the BEST we saw and talked to. The owner was very down to earth and yet at the same time very professional. It was a pleasure talking to him and getting to know him. My wife and I are looking forward to using his services again in Feb.. Our son and his fiancee are also exited about the idea. So, to those that are looking for a limo service for our self or a loved one this would be the limo service that my wife and I would recommend. Joe and Diane Munoz

For my wedding my fiancee (now wife) and I were going to go with the same limo service my wife's sister had booked, but about two weeks they cancelled on her, and based on what she went through, we decided NOT to go with that company and started from square one again going through the yellow pages.
I talked to about 5 or 6 limo companies before I called prestigious limos, just getting quotes and what not. This limo company was one of the only ones that called me back (and would return my phone calls in between signing our contract and the date we had booked), and I was assured at length that they never drop their contracts, even if they get a call from someone else offering them more money, and that proved to be true.
Our limo driver was the OWNER of the company, who drove from Des Moines to Eldora, Iowa, arrived EARLY, picked us up at the church, and drove us to our reception in Ames. Being on time and getting us from the church to the reception was all I really asked for, but this guy went above and beyond our expectations. We had a lot of people in our wedding from out of town, and had an extra person who needed a ride to the reception. It was absolutely no problem, and the owner totally rearranged everything in the limo, carrying all of our coolers from the back two seats up to the passenger seat to make sure we could fit the extra person. On the way to the reception we stopped multiple times for pictures, even once in a field along side the road where our photographer wanted to get some pictures, and our driver never once complained or got annoyed with us--everywhere we stopped our driver jumped out of the limo to make sure we never had to open a door, carried the photographer's huge backpack, and even brought us drinks in the field while we were getting our pictures taken.
Once we arrived at the reception we barely had the chance to unload our coolers, bags, etc, ourselves, because our driver was the first to start unloading everything and carry it to wherever it needed to be.
I can tell these people take a lot of pride in their business--the limousine was a stretch escalade and it was flawless inside and out, but it was the service of the owner of the company that really made our day.
This guy bent over backwards to make sure everything was right and I would without a doubt recommend this limo company to anyone.

What a joke. i would highly highly highly recommend going through a different company! i wanted to give them 0 stars but it wouldn't let me... i had my limo booked for over 2 months and he sold it out underneath me. the limos arent very well maitained and he runs a terrible business. He doesn't remember anything. I called him 10 times talking about the limo and each time he acted like he had no clue what was going on. I had two meetings set up with him to view the limo and both times he didn't show up! WOW WHAT A JOKE FOR A BUSINESS! GO SOME WHERE ELSE
Since I have no idea who this person is, I would like to challenge the facts. 1st being that we NEVER show the limos on Saturdays as they are being prepared for other customers so I do not believe there was any appointment set up. Also, anytime there is an appointment, the customer is asked to call 15 minutes before they arrive as the cars are not stored at the same location as the officeand most of the time, the customer does not show up on time. 2nd being that I personally have had customers compliment the cleanliness of our vehicles and how well maintained they are compared to other companies in the Des Moines area. I invite anyone to come view my cars at anytime to verify this fact. If you had a limousine booked for 2 months without a contract then you should have followed up as anytime a limousine is booked with us, a formal contract is sent to the customer. If the contract is not returned by the deadline date, then we do book with someone else as I no longer have an agreement with the original person. I ask this person to bring facts not personal attacks to the table.
