I initially contacted ECI on the evening of Sunday, April 15, 2012 regarding a complaint from my renter that no hot water was coming in the home. ECI had installed my hot water heater, and performed service on the unit in the past so I called them to honor the existing warranty in place. No one answered on Sunday evening, so I left a message. I called back on the morning of Monday, April 16, 2012 and spoke with Kyle in the service department. Kyle placed a call to service technician John who contacted me directly in confirming that he will come out to address my issue between the hours of 11 to 1 pm that day. I asked that he call me when he was 20 minutes from my property so that I can meet him as I did not live there. He said he would, so when 1:30 pm rolled around and I had not heard from him I called and texted him inquiring about his status. At first he did not respond to my call or text, I text again and he responded "In a meeting." I responded apologizing for disturbing him however I just wanted confirmation of what time he would be at my home. He never responded. I called the main office number and spoke with Kyle again, who said he would try to reach him and call me back. Needless to say I never heard from Kyle again. This is very unprofessional, and a great inconvenience.
