With nearly 50 years experience developing, installing and supporting these systems, the company continues to innovate and advance technology for safely stopping aircraft. It has also developed and produced controlled energy absorbing products for other applications, including the Space Shuttle and vehicle arresting systems for cars and trucks, airborne cargo extraction and unmanned aerial vehicles. ESCO employs a combined 170 workers at its headquarters in Aston, Pa., and branch locations in Lester, Pa., and Shannon, Ireland.
