My experience with this person was as a guardian ad litem acting as custody evaluator.
Her process was not objective, and she was easily biased, she also was dishonest, and almost impossible to reach ( for the non favored parent ).Not that her favored parent won, they lost. Her case fell apart in 30 minutes, after an 18 month investigation- it was a sick, sad joke.
Most importantly she was the foundational element in perpetuating a high conflict custody battle, and the damage to the children of the parties was irreversible.
For someone who preaches emotional control, she sure made a ton of subjective assumptions.
She does not belong in the field of family law, at all. She is a poster child for everything wrong with the GAL process in court cases.
Stay away.

Whatever you do, do not use Cher Myers as a Social Investigator. She was appointed to our case and it was a nightmare! I was personally referred to her and insured that the negative reviews were only parents who were upset at the outcome. She can be bought & she will take sides! She has no business in Family Court. RUN!!!!!

This lady is a complete psychopath she is bias will only go with the parent that pays her off first she will pretend to be on your side as soon she is paid she will go with the parent who gives up the money. She neglects your kids issues she does not care what the doctors or therapist say about the best interest of the children she ignores everything and told me that the judge will side with her and I can't do nothing about the ruling even though all of my kids doctors and therapist told her what the other parent is doing and what was going on. The other pare t paid her off that's all she cared about. This lady is a liar all about her money she made up things and said my kids said it she is a liar. My kids beg me daily to come home and I am in the works of doing that with my attorney with a trial that will prove my evidence over ride her fake reports. She neglected to contact all of my children doctors school and therapist she talked to them as if they didn't no what they are talking about. She will pretend to be on your side and then once she is paid her and her staff will treat you like crap. Stay away no matter court order or not do your research she has horrible ratings but stupid me I wanted to give her a chance just because everyone has different experiences but I was wrong and I regret to this day of having to deal with her and her craziness she literally tore my family apart and my kids are paying for it I beg you all to stay away. I reported her to the better business bureau and I have filed a civil complaint against her and her company hopefully she will be shut Down. If you want your kids find real GAL tell the judge you rather go with someone else due to the research she is not a person you would want your children to talk with she is a liar she made up fake reports my kids never said the things she said in court my children even wrote the judge begging them to allow them to come home and now I have a trial date set because she failed to do her job as a GAL if you dont believe me please do your research and 100 other men and women have walked in my shoes and seen this place is Only about money she don't care about your kids

Maybe I'm wrong but I thought that psychologists had to have a Ph.D or Psy.D rather than just being a social worker. I can tell you for certain that she is does not have the people skills or sophistication to be a psychologist so please do NOT consider her as anything near professional. Her opinions are so far off base, so far removed from what any reasonable person would consider intelligent that it truly boggles the mind. This is Lake county Florida though so standards are not high. Cher has damaged my children severely and damaged my family irrevocably. Stay far, far away.
