we had a fun time IN SPITE OF THE WAITRESS who just put food in front of people without verifying the orders- example gave cheddar burger to wrong person who took a bite and said, "This isn't cheddar cheese" whereupon she gave the errant burger to the correct person WITH A BITE ALREADY OUT OF IT. And the mini-macdonald's size of the burger meant that was a big part of dinner missing! The flavored fries were soggy, CAJUN does not mean empty a can of seasoning on top of ready-cut fried fries, same with garlic. The feature of the day- criss-cut ( ???) sweet potato/yam chips were so burnt there was no hint of orange color; the second attempt was a little less overdone but soggy and inedible. The meal was matched by a makes-Coors-look flavorful pale ale, house brand. The busboy stood behind each diner as they got closer to the end of his/her meal (tiny portions and no one could eat all, anway), not attentive but obviously anxious to get done... the waitress elbowed one customer as she whisked the plate out as soon as she determined the customer was done. Fortunately, the host was congenial, our group fun, music and setting great. Why oh why with so many kitchen staff unemployed to they have such terrible preparers and servers there? If it weren't the ambience and music, the place would be empty....
