Dolphin Reef Restaurant

We had to wait 40 minutes with a reservation. The waitress seemed drunk. They forgot half of our food order (never brought it to us when we asked), but they still charged us for it. The food was cold, and my rib platter tasted like a McRib from McD's. The manager was terribly impolite when we asked her to take the forgotten food off the bill and said it was our fault that food was forgotten because our party was too large. We had 9 people with a reservation. Don't take our reservation if you cant accommodate us. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

Great seafood. Great service. Best ocean view from a restaurant I have ever seen. What’s not to like about the Dolphin Reef?

I arrived late for breakfast here and halfway expected the breakfast buffet to be a letdown.  I was pleasantly surprised that it still contained hot and fresh food and everything was cooked just right.  The waiters provide just enough attention but not too much, which was good.

We had lunch at the Dolphin Reef and the food was great along with the service.  This restaurant has a floor to ceiling window that overlooks the ocean so you feel like you're eating on the beach even though you're in an air conditioned restaurant.  We also appreciated the generous portions and fair prices.

After a long drive to Tybee we were glad to sit down at this restaurant and enjoy the seafood buffet without having to get back in the car.  We just walked over from our room in the Ocean Plaza.  The crab legs were the best I have ever eaten.  My wife thought the same about the shrimp.  The She Crab Soup was out of this world.  Some places water it down too much but here it was just perfect.  Everything was just delicious.
