New Construction
GOH created a subsidiary business, Hawbaker Construction Services, now Hawbaker Engineering, which provides design and consulting services to customers for site planning, government approvals and professional engineering services.
Demolition

Foundation Installation

Landscaping
GOH began doing foundation works in the 1950’s. Over the years our site work has expanded to all types of commercial and residential development including shopping centers, medical facilities and convenience stores as well as planned residential communities. We provide all types of site development including storm water management, paving, street and driveway construction, retention walls, curbs and sidewalks and finished landscaping.
Driveways
Asphalt Paving
Currently operating 21 quarries and 7 asphalt production facilities across Pennsylvania, and southern New York. Glenn O. Hawbaker Inc. continues to serve customers with an array of services including asphalt paving, road construction, gas well service and construction as well as engineering design services.
Excavation
In 1952, Glenn O. Hawbaker and his wife Thelma founded a small excavation company with the goal to build, serve, and advance local communities. First contracting with local State College builders, the company grew and expanded, officially becoming incorporated in the state of Pennsylvania in 1965.
Retaining Walls
Our specialized crews can create coffer dams for dewatering construction projects with sheet piling. We can also construct permanent retaining walls with sheet piling. Our shoring capability can be used to facilitate construction in progress or long term repair of existing structures.
