        This is still a great time to buy a home in the Tucson area, and you will need an experienced buyer's agent to help sort through all the listings. Unlike other real estate agents, works for you, the buyer, not the seller. I like to say that I specialize in people, not houses. Tucson, AZ is currently a seller's market. There are a lot of new and inexperienced agents in the marketplace. A lot of the listings are still overpriced. A lot of sellers are still being unrealistic! There are also well priced homes on the market now, due to relocations, divorces, job loss, foreclosures, etc. Motivation to sell is greater than in it has been in previous markets, and great opportunities for excellent buys are available. You need the best person possible to recognize that situation, and have the experience to get you the proper price and the best terms; an agent with no conflict with the seller and you. Although I never take listings, I certainly do know all the top listing agents, and will objectively, and without regard to company affiliation, find agents that you can interview and choose the best one for yourself.
