We stay at this hotel every time we come to Albuquerque for my dad's VA appointments. Even though it is across town and the VA gives is a steep break at another hotel close off Gibson we keep coming back here. They take into consideration special needs of guests. They hotel is always clean and well functioning. The staff always greets you with a big smile and does everything in their power to assist you. This trip Travis and Casi arranged to have a room on the ground floor with a refrigerator in it. Seeing Salli and Casi's smiles at check in put me at ease (it's not easy being a caregiver to 2 seniors simultaeously). The staff is so patient and caring in dealing with my elderly parents. Adela and Casi were so kind to find me some grits and oatmeal early in the morning; for my mom who spent 13 hours getting sick from a restaurant. These employees are an asset to Choice Hotels and should be recognized for all their hard work.

After driving for 12 hours, we were looking for a nice, comfortable room. We have stayed here in the past, but many years ago. Previously there was no elevator on the property, but they put one in six months ago and it really is a nice addition. The King room was very spacious with everything anyone could want: large wardrobe, nice TV with good cable, easy internet, fridge, microwave, 4-cup coffee pot, long, high vanity, excellent lighting in room and especially, in the bathroom; desk, lounge chair, very good bed with five pillows and full-service breakfast. We usually stay at the Comfort Inn in Socorro when traveling back to AZ from the Midwest, but it was already fully booked early afternoon, so I checked the CI in T or C and found ONE ROOM REMAINING. Another hour of driving, but the room was well worth it.
We had to make an emergency trip to Albuquerque to get our family dog to a 24 hour vet service - we arrived 20 minutes after midnight. We were able to check in at the Comfort Inn about 0300 in the morning. Reggie was so courteous, thoughtful, and understanding during the check-in process. The next day Deidra was on shift. She duplicated the kind hospitality, and was very helpful by allowing us to have an extra hour before checking out while we waited for an update from the Vet. We are still here and the service is still excellent. Thanks to the great staff at the Comfort Inn & Suites North.
We stayed at this hotel based on the price and the breakfast reviews on Trip Advisor. We got a great price with a senior discount of 10%. Our room was clean and comfortable. I used the laundry late in the evening and the night clerk was helpful and friendly. I thought the dryer was broken but it turned out I hadn't pushed the Start button! He handled me wonderfully. The morning breakfast clerk was delightfully friendly and helpful. No question that this is a hotel trying to make an impact on its customers. Highly recommended.
I am giving it a rating of 5 because I can't find any fault with the staff, nor the services provided. The only negative is the age of the hotel. The rooms are very clean. The hotel has been upgrading bedding, painting, etc. So it always looks nice. The staff is great! We have pets, and they are very accommodating. All pet rooms are along the back side where there is easy access to the side yard. They even provide a couple of "poop bags" and treats for your pet. If only the other guests would learn how to use the bags...sigh
We were very happy with our king suite. It had a small sofa and three comfortable chairs, all with good reading light -- a rare find in a budget motel. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable (except we wished the pillows weren't quite so thick), the towels were fluffy, and we appreciated the in-room coffee, the mini-fridge, and the microwave. The breakfast was also much better than at most budget hotels, in that it included scrambled eggs and sausage links.
This hotel was nice, but room needed some work done on the grout in the bathroom. It was clean and comfortable. We slept good. The people were friendly. There was an indoor pool, but we were too tired to swim. There was a Denny's next door and they gave us a 20% discount at Dennys for staying at the Comfort Inn. That was nice. Dogs stay for free, but they didn't have a military discount like most Comfort Inns. I would stay here again if I was in the area.
This was a very pleasant stay. Hotel and room were clean and had everything I needed. Housekeeping staff does an excellent job, which you can tell by the cleanliness of the rooms. The front desk staff was beyond amazing and accommodating! The variety and quality of the food is far above other choice hotels, good job! the property was excellent and the Front Desk Staff exceeded expectations! I would recommend staying at this property if in town.
This hotel's location adds to it's safety and quietness. The extended hours on the pool really make it convenient for adults to use any time of the day/night. We love that the rooms have many quality pillows, a comfortable mattress, and a duvet . . . we could stay in bed all day if our schedule allowed it. The staff is so friendly and helpful so you feel at home. Thank you Ms. Cassie and Ms. Adela for your smiles and eagerness to help guests.
This hotel was in a great location, next door to Denny's so we didn't have to travel for dinner. The outside and the lobby was very clean and modern. The room was very cozy and the bed was very comfortable. I don't usually sleep well in hotels as the beds are normally not very comfortable. But I slept very well at the Comfort Inn in Truth or Consequences. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the area.
