        We placed a to-go order by phone; my husband and I ordered burgers and fries… the “wavy” fries were terrible (hard and cold... old), worse… the bacon was raw! So we thought we could still salvage the burgers by taking the raw bacon off, but we had to eat around the edges because they were gushy and disgusting in the middle. Neither of us could get through the meal... it was in a word… appalling. Our daughter liked her spaghetti, but my husband & I couldn't even eat enough of our burger and fries to be satiated, it simply wasn’t eatable. Scale of 1-10... 0. Recommendation to others... 0. In a town of very few restaurants, we had high hopes when Denny's came. We went right after it opened and of course experienced bad service because it was new, the next time we got sick, we didn't go again for about a year. Now we try it about once every 6 months to see if it is any better. We've had one decent lunch, but that is it. After tonight, (raw bacon, really, are they trying to make us sick again?) I don't care if we ever go back. These days when eating out is becoming more of a treat than a tradition we classify Denny’s as a gross waste of money that we just can’t afford to throw away.
