Borland's Tree Service and Landscaping

I am a property manager for HOA communities. Charles Borland is an honest man. He came to give estimates for tree removal. Our landscaper had already tagged trees to be removed. When Charles came in to the community to remove those trees, he told us some of them were not dead and did not need to be removed, only pruned saving the association money. He could of very easily removed these trees and charged for them that are tagged and called it a day but he didn’t. I would highly recommend him and I will be using him in my other communities as well. He also came through after a big storm and cleaned up many emergency trees very quickly! Big thumbs up for Borland’s Tree Service 👍🏼

Borland took down a tree and ground part of the stump, and left a pile of wood chips covering the remaining stump. After bringing it to the owners attention, he apologized and said he would return to finish the job. After many messages, he never called or came to finish. Not the type of company I will do business with, and I tell everyone I know to be aware of his poor work.

Summer of 2016 Charles Borland gave me an estimate to remove leaves from property fall of 2016. The price was $75. When he came to my house today he said he couldn't do the job because it would take his men over 1 hour to do the job. I would not trust this man to honor his word.
