I agree with the other reviews: small selection, inconsistant hours and a mechanic that doesn't know what he is doing

I purchased a Jamis bike ($800+) and had nothing but problems with the shifting from day one. Each time I brought it back the owner was very apologetic and assured me he would fix the problem. This went on for two months. The bike was in his shop more than it was with me. When we did a test ride together he assured me that I was not doing anything wrong.



The last straw was when the chain broke on the same day that he "fixed" the bike. When I tried to return it he said the problem was with me and that I do not know how to shift the bike properly . I called my credit card company and filed a dispute.



After two months I received word from the credit card company that my account had been credited for the bike. I immediately purchased a Specialized bike(same price $800+) and have had no problems. I ride 5 days a week for about 15 miles.



In hindsight I have learned that the owner does not have the mechanical skills to be selling second tier bikes. I try to support new businesses but this time I got burned. The right thing to do would have been to take back the bike. Someone who shells out $800 should get a bike in good working order.

Not much of a selection and the place was closed the first two times I went there even though I went during store hours.

This shop only sells Jamis bikes. I owned a Jamis bike and it was junk.
