The name PandaAmerica is derived from the fact that the company was chosen by China to be one of only two American distributors of Panda coins in 1982. Since then, PandaAmerica has been selected to be the official distributor of coins from Australia, Cambodia, France, Great Britain, Israel, Liberia, Mexico, Singapore, United States and Vietnam. It also offers a wide variety of collector coins that range from ancient times to those issued by the United States over the past 200 years. It also mints coins and medals for governments, associations and individuals. PandaAmerica is located in Torrance, Calif.
