Our PTs have extensive training in manual therapy and commit to providing quality one on one treatment to each and every client. When patients are in pain, injured or recovering from surgery we help them achieve their goals through assessing their individual needs. We provide our patients the tools and resources they need to recover. Megan Piersol earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Florida. Her clinical background for the past 14 years has been in orthopedics, sports medicine at youth, collegiate, recreational, and professional levels, hypermobility spectrum disorders (including EDS), and neurological rehabilitation (i.e., post-stroke, Parkinson’s). She has extensive training in breathing, posture, and stabilization techniques that enable proper muscle activation and improved and more efficient movement patterns. All aspects of her treatment are individualized to the patient, with a well-rounded plan of care to get you back to what you love. Megan strives to teach you how to learn about, listen to, and use your body to enable you to reach and achieve your own goals.
Physical Therapy
Sheena received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Husson University in 2010. She has been a part of the Head to Toe therapy team for over 15 years working with a diverse patient population. Sheena has advanced education and training in manual techniques for treatment of the spine and peripheral joints. In addition to treating orthopedic and neurological injuries, she has clinical experience working with pediatric patients of all ages. Sheena finds it rewarding to help patients reach their maximum potential to function independently or return to full active participation. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys her family, fitness, and outdoor recreation.

Karen Krzywda is the owner of Head to Toe Physical Therapy, and has over 25 years of experience in the outpatient physical therapy setting. She earned a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Simmons College in Boston, MA. Karen has taken several courses related to manual therapy, with a focus on spine-related conditions, and is certified in the Graston Technique. Her treatment approach emphasizes hands-on techniques, aquatic therapy and direct patient involvement.
