Dental Sealants
The solution to this problem is dental sealants. Dental sealants are a thin plastic film which fills in the pits and grooves of your natural tooth, ensuring that bacteria can no longer nest there and cause decay. Once a sealant is in place, it is a fantastic barrier to keep bacteria and food particles out of these crevices. The best part about this solution is that they last up to ten years, saving you both time and money in the future.

Fillings
These fillings last just as long as amalgam models. Additionally, compared to silver or amalgam fillings which can alter the shape of your teeth and influence the beauty of your smile, these fillings simply and naturally fill in the part of the tooth which is missing, not changing the shape of your teeth in a noticeable way. Finally, composite fillings are nearly invisible. No one will know that you have had a filling. With the updated technology, the Frankel Dentistry staff are able to blend the colors of the composite to match your natural teeth.
Resin Composite
The process begins with the staff at Frankel Dentistry applying a coat of liquid composite resin. This material will have been carefully shaded to blend as seamlessly as possible with the color of your other teeth. Next, the surface will harden. At this point the staff at Frankel Dentistry can sculpt it into an ideal shape for your particular mouth and teeth. Once it is shaped, the resin will be polished, and your smile will be improved dramatically.
Veneers
Veneers are beautifully crafted, custom-made porcelain that restore crooked, malformed, or damaged teeth, allowing for a balanced, enhanced and unique smile while restoring strength and functionality.
Crowns
If a major filling or restoration is required, but a full crown is not necessary, an excellent way to restore the tooth and conserve the natural structure is a dental inlay or onlay. Similar in function to fillings, but strong and long-lasting like crowns, inlays and onlays are like perfectly shaped puzzle pieces that help restore the strength of your tooth. Rather than a full crown, inlays or onlays might be considered partial crowns.
Bridges
Another style of bridge which might be better suited to your particular situation is called a fixed bridge. Root Canal Treatment
Severely decayed or broken teeth, or teeth that have had a root canal, may need additional support before they can be restored. Without reinforcement, the tooth cannot hold the force of eating and chewing. One option to add the much needed support to the tooth is called post and core.

Dentures
Dentures are a prosthetic replacement for missing teeth that can be easily removed at any point. They’re essentially false teeth that are made out of acrylic, metal, or nylon and can replace one, several, or all of your teeth. In fact, you can even get same-day dentures the day that you get your teeth removed, which means that you won’t have to worry about going an extended period of time with missing teeth.
Overdentures
Upon completion of Dental School, Dr. Greiss completed his General Practice Residency at St. Lukeâ€™s Hospital in Bethlehem, PA. There, he gained invaluable knowledge and practice in performing not only routine dental procedures, but numerous complex procedures which included placing implants, crown lengthening and overdentures. Dr. Greiss recognizes the uniqueness of building relationships with patients of all ages and thus enjoys treating pediatric patients as well as adult patients. Dental Implants

Missing teeth can lead to gum disease, bone loss, and the risk of losing more teeth. Therefore, to combat the missing tooth, we recommend a dental implant.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Oral Surgery
Teeth are composed of many layers. The outer layer is composed of enamel, which is a protective shell that wears down over time. The second layer called dentin, and is much more sensitive than enamel. If you peel away the dentin, the next layer you will discover will be the pulp. In this layer, you will find nerves that run down through a canal and into the root tip. While these canals are generally a strong, a deep cavity, tooth fracture, or serious oral surgery can significantly raise a canal’s risk of bacterial infection. If this infection is allowed to take hold, it can decimate a tooth’s interior pulp, increase blood flow, and form pus. This process raises the pressure within the tooth causing a great deal of discomfort.
Tooth Extractions
The first step during an extraction will be to take X-Rays, allowing Frankel Dentistry to help plan the best way to remove the tooth. There are two common types of extractions: simple and surgical. A simple extraction is a common dental procedure. During a simple extraction, Frankel Dentistry will loosen the tooth with an instrument called an elevator and then uses forceps to remove the tooth. These procedures are commonly done with a local anesthetic.

Orthodontics
Dr. Hayder Al Janabi comes to Frankel Dentistry as a recent graduate from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. He was recognized on the Tufts Deanâ€™s List in 2020 and 2021. As a child, Dr. Al Janabi watched his brother suffer from a devastating broken tooth, he admired and looked up to the dentist who helped bring his brother's smile back. He knew from that moment he wanted to pursue dentistry. Originally from Iraq, Dr. Al Janabi obtained two DDS degrees overseas in 2013. Upon graduation he began serving through a Polyclinic as a general and cosmetic dentist, placing implants, veneers, as well working in orthodontics and full mouth rehabilitation. Invisalign Orthodontics
The first step in the process is to make an appointment for a consultation. At this time, the Frankel Dentistry staff will sit down with you, explaining all of your options. We will photograph your teeth and take 3D images of your mouth. Next, we will send these images to an Invisalign certified lab, where your aligners will be produced.
Braces
Invisalign are clear aligners that allow you to straighten your teeth without anyone ever knowing. They are perfect for people who have had braces and did not wear their retainers or those who have never enjoyed straight teeth. Each aligner is custom fitted to your mouth. Over time, the aligners systematically shift your teeth into the correct position.

General Dentistry
Dr. Gofman went on to receive her DMD from University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in Farmington, CT. During her time at UConn, she continued to participate in local community service events as well as a 10 day dental service trip to Honduras. Although she has always had a passion for working with children, as Dr. Gofman began to gain clinical experience, she soon realized that she loved interacting with her adult patients as well. She made the decision to pursue General Dentistry so that she could treat both adult and pediatric patients. There is nothing she loves more than building a relationship with her patients and helping to make them feel as comfortable as possible.
