A Unique Pin

My wife purchased over $800 in new gear as an early fathers day gift. She took my jersey to get numbers and letters put on. She selected the print with the "professional" and this "professional" failed to inform her on the outcome with white letters on this type of material. long story short, they kicked her out of the shop refusing to pay for it because "it was not their job to inform on materials" My wife was very upset because we don't have another 50$ to go buy a new jersey so I'm just out of luck. We will be sure to inform and hand the messed up jersey at the tracks and make sure everyone is informed on their shady dealings. worst place ever!

I have loved doing business with Tony and Sharon. They are very personable and friendly. Anything I have ever taken to them, they do a great job, the price is fantastic, and the turn around time is very reasonable! They did a custom job on a "memorial" hat taking one patch off an old hat, placing it on a new hat, and creating another patch for the spouse who recently passed away. It turned out great! I needed two specialty shirts done in a tight time frame, and they had them done within a week, and they look fabulous. I will continue to use them for other things, and highly recommend them to others.

Stay away. They do shady business. You will not be satisfied.

They never answer their phones during business hours. They do not deliver product when they say they are going to. All you hear is excuses.

We ordered or sons jacket 8 weeks ago and it is still not ready. The business is closed even during hours they say they are open. Now they are not answering their phone. I am concerned they have taken off with our deposit. DO NOT use this business.

Very awesome company. I took a couple sweatshirts in to get customized and there was a little misunderstanding on what I wanted. When I picked them up I explained what was missed and he said no problem they would fix it. I went to drop the sweatshirts off to get fixed and they were fantastic, very understanding and even let me change my order a little. I would definitely go back to them.

The people at A Unique Pin are good folks who run a decent and honest business. Their work has always been super satisfactory and we highly recommend them. I have personally watched them go the extra mile several times to make sure that letter jackets, for example, fit exactly the way the customer wants, and that the customer is not rushed to make decisions on what to put on the jackets. Ok, so sometimes they haven't been exactly on time. Having our own business, we understand that sometimes things can get unexpectedly extra busy. They truly want their customers to be happy. We keep returning because we have always been pleased with everything we take to them. Thank you, A Unique Pin!

Our daughter goes to Mountain Range, they have a different color blue that is hard to find, Unique Pin special ordered the wool to make the color right unlike other vendors in the area. They had her jacket done in only 4 weeks and it was perfect! Up front, we spent about an hour making sure she was fitted correctly and that everything was just right. Very happy with the personal service and attention to detail.

I was very discouraged when I asked the owners to correct a mistake on some items, and received no answer, leaving my students and parents disappointed in me and the lack of attention to detail. I tried to give them more business, and received little to no communication when months went by, with out a product in hand.

I saw on the website that they could produce a custon chenille patch from my logo. After 7 months, 4 trips from Denver to Thornton, and calling to check on things only to be told they would call me when it was done, I found out they were planning on selling my designed bear patch to anyone who came in wanting a bear. If that was not acceptable- it isn't- I would have to pay a digitizing fee. I should have been told that upfront, but even so, I was considering paying the fee. When I drove up to discuss it, I was told that my design was obviously not "hand drawn", that the Chicago bears also have a bear head logo with an open mouth and so mine is "generic" and could not be considered proprietary. I am just a mom these days, but I have an MFA in graphic design and have designed many logos. I wasted months waiting for them, hours driving back and forth, and have nothing to show for it but the belief that my proprietary intellectual property is likely to be abused.

VERY DISAPPOINTED. After 7 months and driving 4 times from Denver , I was told that the patch I was having them create from my logo was "generic" and could not be considered proprietary. This after I learned that they were planning on selling my design as a patch to anyone who wanted a bear. They said it was obviously not "hand drawn" and I must have lifted it. I may be just a mom now, but I was a graphic designer for 15 years before that- designing logos. I am insulted- and after waiting 7 months for a patch, I have nothing to show for it but knowledge that someone has my digitized design along with the misguided belief that it is in the public domain. They say they won't sell my patch and I can only hope that is true.

I originally went here for my son's letter jacket due to the excellent price and having no desire to go to the usual place in Arvada where the customer service has been lacking since I purchased my own letter jacket there 25 years ago. I have since been back for additional sewing as well as some custom shirt orders. A Unique Pin has excellent knowledge of products available, quality service and good input when I was unsure about some t-shirt jerseys I was ordering. Their prices are excellent and I always feel that my business is valued and welcome. Totally worth the extra 20-30 minute drive to be treated so well and get exactly what I need also.

Go somewhere else like Sportline in Arvada. A Unique Pin has yet to produce something on time. They have stitched patches onto the jacket in the wrong spots, and have made spelling mistakes on patches. Which should be expected since their name is grammatically incorrect, too.

The people who own this store are the most helpful people I have encountered in any shopping experience. They spent so much time with me and my family and were so patient as we constantly changed our minds, they felt like family when we left. Thank you so much Tony and Sharon!
