We were on our way home from Redfish Lake when a tire blew out on our rented RV 20 miles from Mackay pretty much in the middle of nowhere. We called roadside assistance, but they said no place would be open and so we spent the night in a turnout along the road. The next day we waited for roadside assistance to help set up something to get us towed to the nearest tire repair. It took some time for the roadside assistance to find a tow truck. We learned that maybe you should try calling yourself and speed up the process because just about the time roadside assistance found B and B we did also and called and talked to them also. We waited most of that day until it was getting to be closing time. The tow truck driver was so kind to call ahead to a friend in Arco to check and see if he could replace the tire and get us on the way. He even borrowed a small truck when we got to the tire repair shop to drive myself and my son to the nearest medical facility. You see my son had had a bit of a bicycle accident before we left Redfish Lake and needed to be checked out. We were so grateful for everything he did to help us. He went above and beyond to help us to get to where we needed to be and home that evening. Gina Nilsson

I had the misfortune of having an elk attempt to have my car for breakfast just south of Dubois, Idaho. Until the morning an elk decided it hated my purple car, I was accident free. So there I was in my first accident with my car totaled out on an Idaho prairie 300 miles from home and almost 200 miles to the nearest city with rental cars at 4 in the morning. Stan and company promptly arrived on the scene from B&B Truck and Auto Body to tow my deceased vehicle off the highway and they went they distance and took excellent care of me until my insurer got their work done on my claim. Little did I know that even with full coverage comp/collision that I'd be waiting on my insurance company for 5 hours before I could be on my way and back on the road in a rental. The folks at B&B were so good to me and they took care of both me and my vehicle. This was such a traumatic experience watching an animal the size of a cow rolling up on the hood of my car and thinking "oh THIS is what it feels like to have several hundred pounds of elk flying towards my face at 80 miles an hour with only glass between us". Not to mention, at the moment of impact the car stops but all the items in the back of the car take flight forward at 80 miles and hour, including a 13 lb trailer hitch that lunged forward towards the back of my driver's seat. New experience to me to know if the elk didn't get me, the items inside my car could. Now I know two things, 1-cargo net all lose objects inside the vehicle down, and 2 ALWAYS call B&B for all my roadside assistance needs when I make that trip through Dubois, Mud Lake and Camas (Clark and Jefferson counties) in Idaho.
