Gardner white taylor !! You have some very rude and unprofessional delivery people the driver draged my furniture in my home i had to ask him to please pick it up and not drag it and when he was "done" setting it up it didn't look right so i asked him to please re-do it he was very irritated "STEVEN 46 " MAYBE YOU SHOULD CHANGE YOUR JOB SINCE YOU OBVIOUSLY HATE IT !!

My mother just spent 7 grand on a new bedroom set at the Taylor Gardner White. My mom is 5 feet tall. Her new bed is almost 3 feet tall. She cant get in bed. So I went to the store to see if I could buy a matching step. Nope they don't sell steps. No problem, Im a carpenter. I built her a nice step. So now I need the stain " Samba Walnut" Perfect Gardner White built the furniture surely they can sell me some stain. Nope, I've called over and over. Sir would u lie to buy anything today? No I just need the stain that will match my moms bed. Sorry we cant help u. How can a furniture store that builds their own furniture not offer a touch up kit or stain?? What if the furniture gets scratched from moving? Youre screwed because they wont sell you a touch up kit like ARTVAN DOES. Art Van gives you a bottle of stain, wax lustre, buffing pads and oil STANDARD.

Not one sales person was willing to help me try to get stain. The lady that sold my mom her bed wont even return any phone calls. This store is horrible. I read the reviews and see everyone's chief complaint is poor quality furniture and terrible unreliable customer service. Value City even offers its customers touch up pens and stains.

SHOP ELSEWHERE, DONT BE A VICTIM LIKE THE REST OF US!!!!

im satisfied

First i went art van furniture it was packed and nobody seem like they wanted to help us so i left and decided to go to this gardener white store. We came in and was greeted by this handsome gentleman name Charles. Quickly i was liking his sales technique. He didn't Push us to buying anything he said look around and i will be back to check on you... I feel in love with this kiwi color furniture that i saw on the internet the might before. But i easily got distracted by the beds after a hour of my decision of not buying any bed or headboard charles was very patient and understanding we headed Back to the living room sets and i picked out the one i wanted... I paid out through my debit card so everything was quick and easy. I think financing is a big scam. That's why i think most of these reviews is negative because they decided to go finance. They delivered my furniture on time. They said they would be there between 10am through 12 and came at 10:30 they were in and out in a good ten minutes.. The only problem is that my takes were backordered.

Gardner White in general has the worst customer service I have EVER had to deal with. You'd think with the economy as bad as it is they would be willing to atleast meet people half way on making them happy with their product and services.



$1,400 and crappy furnature= ANGRY

I purchased a sectional couch from a sales men named CHAZE at the Taylor store on Telegraph. I was moving out on my own for the first time ever March 1st 2009. I set it up so the couch would be delivered on the 3rd. When no one from Gardner White came the time they had said they would I called them. They had no record of me ordering it and I had to wait almost 3 more weeks with no furnature in my living room. I did finally get it and one section was lower than the other. I called and a service tech (MEL) was sent out roughly a month later. He said it was 3 of the cushions and they would have new ones sent out. I explained to him it was not the cushions because I rotate all 6 of the cushions. He ordered cushions any way which took another month. I called the regional customer service manager Ms.Preston and told her a month was unacceptable and she assured me a rush order would be put in and it would only be 2 weeks instead of 4. Nine weeks after the tech was in my apartment I got the cushions Fed Ex and they were left outside my apartment complex without being signed for. I opened the box and they were only the inside of the cushions, no fabric. The same tech (mel) came back to reinforce the structure of the couch after I complained about that to Ms. Preston also. 2 more weeks later Mel was sent out again and he took the old stuffing out of the cushion and crammed it into the bottom of the sinking couch. And the new double stuffed cushions were put into the old fabric on the couch. The stuffing was to much for the old fabric and started to tear the seems.I called to have the couch looked at again because it's worse then when I had first got it. The service tech, Mel told me (IN HIS WORDS) I'll have them order 6 new cushions and fabric and when they come in "I'll come back and do ya" I don't know what that was suppose to mean but I want them to take the sectional back. I have sent atleast 20 e-mails and have called to many times to count. No one will help me!!! That was in August 2009. Almost 3 months later I'm still waiting on 6 cushions when that isan't even the problem!!!

I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH EVERYONE,THAT MY MOTHER WHOM IS 68YRS OLD PURCHASED A MATTRESS AT GARDENER WHITE STORE IN TAYLOR MICHIGAN SEVERAL MONTHS AGO. SHE HAS SHOPPED AT THAT STORE FOR A VERY LONG TIME, BUT,RECENTLY SHE PURCHASED A MATTRESS THAT IS VERY DEFECTIVE.SHE CALLED THE STORE SHORTLY AFTER SHE RECEIVED IT AND THEY SENT SOMEONE OUT TO LOOK AT IT.THEY HAD TOLD MY MOTHER THAT YES,IT WAS DEFECTIVE ONE INCH. SHE CAN NOT RETURN IT UNTIL IT REACHES ONE AND AHALF DEFECTIVNESS. THERFORE THEY TOLD HER SHE COULD NOT RETURN IT.SHE PAID 700.00 FOR A MATTRESS THAT IS VERY DEFECTIVE.MY MOTHER IS VERY ILL AND HAS CANCER,THEY SHOULD AT LEAST LET HER EXCHANGE THIS MATTRESS. THEY HAVE VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. NEXT I WILL CONTACT THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAL,AND CHANNEL 7. FOR ALL VIEWERS I WOULD NOT SHOP AT GARDENER WHITE. I WOULDNT WANT THIS TO HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE THAT SPENDS ALOT OF MONEY,AND GETS VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.THANK YOU JULIE M (TRENTON MI)
