The Frame House Of Carrollwood

This used to be my favorite go-to restaurant. The waitstaff customer service and attention to detail has definitely declined. My family and I ordered takeout several times and each time, there was always something wrong or missing with the order. Either the steak wasn't properly cooked as requested or requested items such as breadsticks didn't make it into the bag. My mother and her friend recently dined in the restaurant. Because my mother has a terrible memory, I wrote down exactly what I wanted her to order for me so she could bring it home. Well, I opened the bag and the garlic breadsticks I had requested were not there. It's very frustrating and disappointing especially since my mother handed the waitress my list. Therefore, there should have been no mistakes. It's this lack of attention to detail that is frustrating and disappointing. And it makes GrillSmith fall lower on the desirable list when I decide to go out to eat or bring in food.

Tonight was not good as on the past. 1st I asked our server to ask the chef if they had a porterhouse . She proceeded to tell me its not on the menu. I replied I'm aware of that but ask the chef anyway. She said don't & never had porterhouse only ribeye. I've had it there several times in the past but you have to ask the chef. Sometimes he had it, sometimes not.. I have up. Food was "ok" but I observed service lacking throughout the restaurant .
