        Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home is family owned and operated and has serving the Central New York community since 1912, when Carl J. Ballweg founded our facility in Syracuse. Our funeral home will help you through the many decisions you will make through this difficult time and we will do so in a professional and caring manner. We impart traditional services and cremations at our Syracuse location including removals, embalming, cosmetology, memorial planning, funeral pre-arrangement, funeral planning, cremation, expert embalming, presentation of deceased, military honors ceremonies, livery, obituaries. We provide caskets, burial vaults, urns, funeral stationery, prayer cards, register books, thank you cards, crucifixes, crosses, memorial folders, tribute videos, and pet urns. We are on call twenty fours a day, seven days a week. More information on all services can be found on our website. Our Syracuse facility offers a state of the art casket and urn selection center with experienced licensed funeral directors to assist in your arrangements, funeral needs and after care services. You can be assured we will make the ceremony for your loved one respectful and memorable.

        VERY unprofessional. One of the goons met my wife and i at the car with a pretzel stick in his mouth..a 50 year old man! The guy who owns the place acted as if everything we said was a bother to him. you can count on them to be rude..oh and btw the make up you put on my father in law made him look like dracula!.

        These folks have been in my neighborhood for years so I was expecting a professional businesslike experience. What I got was so much more. The associate treated my family and me as if we were family, literally taking care of everything with complete compassion and understanding. No pressure sales at all, only helpful suggestions and always consideration. Their website offers a place to have a lasting obituary where friends can leave messages - something we felt was especially thoughtful. The associate was by our side every step of the way and as a result, we are left with a very peaceful memory. We can't thank them enough.
