It is very disheartening that a prestigious club would support their member in discrediting a local business, Stockton Lanes, in his own personal vendetta against the owners. That particular evening is missing a few details.
1. The video games could not be played anymore as there was a pool tournament beginning...Those are the rules.
2. Cancer. The owner's whole family has fought cancer, even himself. He doesn't focus on cancer; he believes in living life instead. This club took in money for his grandson who had cancer, on a quilt donated by a league bowler that was raffled to help the family financially and then they had the audacity to ask for the money back? Please explain that one.
Sir, you are way out of line with your comments. As a lifetime member of another club that has fundraisers with yours, please note this will not go unaddressed. I have not said your name or the name of the clubs, but this kind of conduct will not be tolerated nor excused.
Stockton Lanes is a family-owned, respectable business that loves kids and gives to the community. They serve delicious home-style food, not your typical bowling alley food. It is places like this that keep the community alive and thriving. Stockton needs these businesses and, sir, your club needs these businesses, as well.
Lanes are okay, Owner actually shut off video games while our daughter was putting money in them. Owner was actually yelling and bad mouthing other local businesses in the area and people he didnt like. NOT a place that you would expect to hear that when he is trying to provide entertainment for children. While it is nearly 20 miles to the next bowling alley, it is worth the drive to advoid Stockton Lanes. The owner also does not support local non profits, including children cancer funds by yelling "I dont care about cancer". To members of a group that raises money and supports needs of local children and children diagnosed with cancer. I have better places to spend my money and wont be spending it to a business who's owner conducts himself like that.
I can't beleive that you would write a review that is nothing but lies. The owner of stockton lanes Supports more things with cancer than you can think of. My son had cancer and u can bet that he was there. And if you stop and look around his place then you will see that he support other businesses. I guess you must have been in a bad mood that day and decided to take it out on the one place you went to that day. You are slandering a business with you lies and you better be careful.
