Wagner Heights Residential

When i arrived at Wagner heights for my mother rehab she was given a bed that had blood from a previous patient whose bed sheets were not changed. Obviously they were not prepared for her arrival. Immediately while walking to her room the smell of feces urine and just poor maintenance was in the air. Staff was unable to give assistance to my mother and her needs. If having four patients to a room is not bad enough at least you would think that the staff would keep their shared bathroom kept cleaned. Having to leave our mother in a place like that was a nightmare in itself but to learn that over night she was left to sit in her urine until i arrived in morning. this is degrading of the patients well-being and self. To a health care provider or nurse or any other staff member of this facility should know that loved ones are treated as a human beings. Even though the patients are not their loved ones their getting paid for a service and for a service to be done right. I DO NOT recommend sending love ones there unless your there with them all the time. If you are going to be sending a loved one here don't forget your cleaning supplies!
