Steve's Blinds & Wallpaper

Steve's has a Collection of Blinds that are made and shipped by the Next Business Day or they give them to you free. It seemed too good to be true - Custom blinds made and shipped within 24 hours? But we were desperate. My husband's parents were coming to stay with us for 2 weeks and I kept putting off getting blinds for our new home. So i ordered a whole house full of blinds - I think 18 in total -kept my fingers crossed - and can you believe it...they made them to my exact specification with all the options I wanted and shipped them in 1 day - Wow! And they all fit perfect. The quality is just as good as Hunter Douglas blinds that we bought a while back but more fascinating is that we saved over $450 compared to what JC Penney's wanted to charge and they wouldn't ship them for 2 to 3 weeks. Incredible Service and Prices. My husband and I went their showroom. They were incrediblly helpful and knew everything you could ever want to know about blinds. We ended up buying our blinds from their website - which was very easy to use. We purchased 25 blinds. We saved almost $800 compared to JC Penneys They were delivered by UPS (free shipping) directly to our house up north. They fit our windows great. They were pretty easy to install.

We have purchased from Steve's Blinds and Wallpaper on 3 different occasions. And each time his staff has been very knowledgeable, helpful and his prices cannot be beat. We have purchased both blinds and wallpaper and each time they arrive at our front door within a week of placing the order. On one occasion one of our blinds arrived damaged and they immediately replaced it with no questions ask. What a great company. Highly recommend them.

We saw one of Steve's Blinds and Wallpaper television commercials. And decided to give them a call since we need to order blinds for our entire home. Jackie answered the phone and was incredibly polite and extremely helpful. I gave her all of our measurements and was shocked by how much less Steve's Blinds was for the exact same Levolor Blinds that we were quoted at Lowes. It was almost $750 less for all of our blinds. We ordered them with Jackie and they arrived within 7 days (they didn't even charge any shipping charges). My husband just finished putting them up and we love them. We are now going to place an order for my husband's mother's home. It is going to help freshen up the place - she is going to love them. Thanks Steve for the great blinds but more importantly for saving us close to $750!

This is the 2nd time we have purchased blinds from Steve's Blinds and Wallpaper. The first time we went to their showroom in Sterling Heights. We just needed a blind for our son's room (dog destroyed the old blind). Their selection was great and the salesperson was extremely knowledgeable. We got the room darkening cellular shades with the cordless top down bottom feature. We were surprised by how affordable it was. Once we received the blind my husband installed it in about 15 minutes. Quality is great. So much so that we decided to do a bunch more windows. This time we called and asked for a blind specialist to come to our home with samples and to measure our windows. Sandi came out to our home within 2 days of calling - she brought all of her samples. She was great. We ordered 10 more blinds and within 10 days they were at our house and this time we had their installer put the blind up. They are marvelous. Having Sandi come to our home was so easy and there wasn't any extra charge to have her come. If you need blinds this is the place. Have them come to your home and make sure you ask for Sandi.

We first had Budget Blinds come to our home. They quoted us a price of close to $5,000 to replace all of the blinds in our house. WOW - who could afford that? We then went to Steve's Blinds Sterling Heights showroom. They have so many blinds on display - Steve's Blinds selection was a little bit overwhelming. The salesperson that assisted us was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the different styles and types of blinds. They must have 500 blinds on display and carry almost every brand including Hunter Douglas. We wanted Hunter Douglas but just couldn't afford the price so we found something just like it for 1/2 the price. We had trouble figuring out what color fabric was going to work best for all of our windows so we scheduled a free shop at home appointment. Sandi came out to our home the next day and brought the sample books so that we could select the right fabric colors for each window in each of our rooms. Sandi was great - she gave us great ideas and she even measured all of our windows. We placed our order with her on Monday evening and were told that it could take up to 2 weeks to receive all of our blinds. To our surprise our blinds showed up on Thursday and we scheduled the installer to come out on Saturday. In less than a week we had all new blind sin our windows and saved a ton of money - total cost for essentially the same blinds that Budget Blinds showed us was $2,100 - My husband and I cannot believe how much less expensive Steve's Blinds was and the quality of the blinds are great! Our next project is to replace so very old wallpaper in our bathrooms - we will be going back to Steve's showroom - they have tons and tons of wallpaper books! Julie, Troy, Michigan

Steve you have NO positive reviews!

I ordered wallpaper 6/13 and it says that most wallpaper is shipped in 72 hrs. I called on 6/16 to see if it was shipped since I had not received any shipping confirmation. They placed me on hold to call the manufacturer and then told me that the manufacturer had not even started processing the order and it was such a new product it was not even manufactured yet. I cancelled the order. The next day I get an email saying that it has been shipped. I called them and told them that I had cancelled the order and they said they would send me a return label and once the manufacturer received the wallpaper I would get my refund. The paper was delivered on 6/21 and I called them again on 6/22 to tell them I had not received my return label. They emailed the label on 6/23. They received the return on 6/29. On 7/7 I called because I had not received my refund and was told it would be done that day. It is now 7/15 and I called again to tell them I have not received my refund and they took my number to call me back due to the phones not working. I am very upset. They have $327.45 of my money and the wallpaper and I decided to paint and never order wallpaper again.

WATCH OUT FOR THE "MFG HANDLING FEE"!!! I placed a $27 order, and was charged a $12 Mfg Handling Fee. 50%? The live chat person told me it was for "custom orders." I selected from "close out" wallpaper borders and didn't order anything custom, and was never made aware that this charge was going to be included. Sneaky, sneaky dealing, Steve! Will NOT be ordering from YOU anymore!

What more can I say?? They have ZERO customer service. Free shipping means, "Shipping when we feel like it". They have an 800 number listed that says "Call us anytime" yet when you call, they are only open 9-5. I placed an order over 2 weeks ago and cant get a definate ship date from them! I e-mail'd them 3 times and leave 2 messages... and never got any type of response from them. I will never ever buy from them again.. ! Its not worth the hassles...

Steve's blinds absolutely has the lowest prices around. But, with that you will be getting the worst customer service along with low grade quality blinds. My experience with this company was horrible. You can never speak to the same person twice. They all speak to you as if reading out of a text book (very robotic). Employess come and go so fast that you have no choice but have to deal with a new person everytime and then repeat your concern or question over and over and over. As for the personal guarantee.....forget about it. After you pay, you best say goodbye to your money and except the crappy blinds. Stay away from this company if you care about your money or the blinds you would like for your home.
