        Jack Stack founded Springfield ReManufacturing in the early 1980s.The company specializes in re-manufacturing components for automobiles, commercial trucks, agricultural equipment and construction vehicles. SRC re-manufactures Case, Mitsubishi, New Holland, General Motors, Cummins, International and Isuzu engines and components for agricultural and over-the-road transportation applications. The engines are disassembled and cleaned, damaged parts are replaced, remaining parts are machined as needed to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications, then reassembled and tested. Employee owned SRC is ISO/TS 16949:2002 certified as well as QS9000 and OSP9002 certified. The company employs a more than 325 non-union workforce. The company operates in a more than 135,000 square-foot facility headquartered in Springfield, Mo., with a distribution center in Canada.
