Harvest Associates Inc

Lets face facts, no one likes to deal with collections but due to the nature of how my insurance processed my medical claim my account was turned over to Harvest Associates. I called and requested info on my account and was able to speak with a representative who was knowledgeable and informed me entirely about my explanation on benefits from my insurance carrier and all info matched. The rep I spoke was kind and most helpful. If I ever had another account accidentally go to collections I would opt to deal with this agency again. They processed my payment, emailed me a receipt, and even went the extra step to fix the error my my credit report because it was initially processed incorrectly with my insurance provider.

Received a bill from them and went online to pay only to see a cheesy website that raised some red flags. Received another letter, reportedly from a law office that gave me 30 days to dispute else accept the fact that it was a valid bill. Since they look a little more reputable, I responded and refuted the bill unless they can show proof of what medical service I received. Also told them about the scam looking online payment site. They couldn't do that but instead reported my account to the credit agency. I, of course, refuted the claim and was in the process of collecting evidence when I went back to the online payment site but it looks a little better now, which makes me wonder, was the law office in cahoots with these people or are both one and the same? Everything about this company tells me something is fishy about them and if a reputable company chooses to work with them, well then they'll soon lose their reputation as well, so please stay far away from this company if you want to protect your reputation.

Unprofessional, call repeatedly with nobody there and no messages left. Added to my phone block list.
