The very best Chinese restaurant in town. Our family was one of the first to discover “Taste of China”. We have been customers of theirs from the beginning and for very good reasons. Their food is delicious, the menu covers so many different varieties, their plates are full, and the prices and very, very good. The customer service is wonderful – they treat you like family. And when you have to stay home, the delivery is very quick and courteous. We love “Taste of China”

Love this place! Their lunch specials are very affordable and super yummy. I have come to eat here time and time again.
Extremely disappointed in scallops and lemon chicken. Almost $50.00 worth of food purchased this evening. Lemon chicken was battered and deep fried....NEVER had " fried" lemon chicken. Pan fried scallops had NO seasoning whatsoever. The ONLY thing that was half way decent were the dumplings... They better be glad they got the $50 tonight, because they won't have the opportunity again.
Stay away. If I could give zero I would not just for the quality of the food but for the horrible customer service received when they messed up our order and I had to call to try to get it fixed. I was cussed out, called crazy and psycho and hung up on. My wife was also called crazy and was told I needed to be committed. All because they sent the wrong soup then try to tell me they didn't have the soup and had told me when I ordered. But, they didn't tell me, in fact, they repeated my order back with the soup I had ordered. It's apparent that they didn't realise they ran out and just sent whatever. When I tried to get them to send a different soup they said no because they told us they didn't have the soup and sent two of the other soup I ordered. I then tried to get them to pick the food back up and refund but again they refused, sticking to their lie. The manager got on the line and verified my number and then hung up on me. I tried calling back but no answer and called on different phone and they answered. Apparently they were seeing my number on caller ID and not answering. When I got them back they guy at first acted like he didn't know who I was then when he acted like he just remembered he told me that no refunds and that I was a mother effer. I then informed him I at this point was reporting them to BBC and writing them up on the websites for their poor service. I was continued being cursed by the guy till I lost it. I was on speaker and my wife took the phone and was told I was crazy and psycho and needed to be commited and to come up to the restaurant and he would take care of me. She was also called crazy. When she finally hung up our only option was to eat the food which also was a mistake. The orange and general tso's chicken was actually good and crispy but the rice was dry and tasted a day old and the crab Rangoons were bland and tasted as if we were eating a spoonful of cream cheese out of the tub. No crab bits or chives or sweetness or anything to give it flavor. The egg drop soup was bland and had chunks of yolk mixed in with the egg whites. Subpar food and rude and horrible service made our 1st experience our last.
We ordered jalapeño beef, hunan beef and beef lomein with egg drop and wonton soups........ every single one of them were awesome!!!! The lomein was my favorite of all!! Nancy has the best customer service and we will be sure to come back here even though we live in Channelview!!!
The meal was good. We had chicken fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, and egg rolls. They all tasted good. We used to eat at chef chans and found roaches in our food so this is closer, offers delivery, and is good for the price .

I WILL EVER ORDER FROM THESE GUYS AGAIN. FORMERLY THE FOOD WAS GREAT WHEN THE CORRECT ORDER WAS DELIVERED. HOWEVER, THEY HAVE MADE REPEATED ERRORS ON DELIVERIES LATELY. MY PREVIOUS TO LAST ORDER WAS 100% WRONG. NOT 1 ITEM ON THE ORDER WAS CORRECT. WHEN I CALLED TO HAVE THEM FIX THE ORDER THEY ARGUED AND LITERALLY TOLD ME F&*$ OFF! THEY REFUSED TO FIX THE ORDER AND ARGUED ABOUT EVERYTHING. I WAITED FOR A COUPLE MONTHS TO ORDER AGAIN HOPING THAT WHAT EVER THE ISSUE WAS WOULD BE RESOLVED. IT WASNT. THEY DIDNT EVEN KNOW HOW TO TAKE THE CREDIT CARD ORDER. WHEN I ASKED FOR THE OWNER THEY TOLD ME HE WASNT PRESENT...WHEN I ASKED FOR A SUPERVISOR THEY AVE ME SOMEONE CLAIMING TO BE THE OWNER. THEY LIE, THEY DONT PREPARE THE CORRECT ORDERS AND THEY ARE RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS.

Here's the short version of the story, I ate at the restaurant on 10/26/13 and the waitress/cashier seemed uninterested in her job and refused to respond at our attempts at small talk while taking our orders and paying for our meal. We were not checked on nor did we receive any type of service during the meal (not even topping off our drinks), but the waitress/cashier asked after I paid if I left a tip on the table. Suprised at the boldness of this woman I said "Um, I don't think we did ... No we didn't". Well, she finally perked up as she told us to never return to the restaurant again. Moral of the story, if you eat here tip or face banishment forever more.
