Oral Cancer Screening

Fluoride Treatment
Our pediatric preventive services include gentle exams and cleanings, along with special treatments for children. Sealants and fluoride treatments can protect young teeth, preventing decay for decades to come. Research is also showing that regular fluoride treatments for adults can help prevent dental decay in up to 75% of patients. Wow!!
Dental Sealants
Sealants provide teeth extra protection against decay and help prevent cavities. Dental sealants are made of a resin that bonds and hardens in the deep grooves on the tooth’s surface. The sealant makes the tooth surface smooth so it is less likely to get a cavity. With sealants, brushing your teeth becomes easier and more effective against tooth decay.

Fillings
When a tooth has a cavity a dentist can use silver amalgam to restore the tooth. Amalgam is a durable restorative material that can be used in areas of the mouth where it is difficult to control moisture.
Veneers
Veneers are the state-of-the-art in esthetic dentistry. Veneers can be made of composite or porcelain depending on the case. Traditionally, composite veneers are bonded onto and sculpted to the teeth in one dental visit while porcelain veneers require two visits before the thin custom-made layer of porcelain is bonded to the teeth.

Bridges
Dental Bonding
Implants (very much like Cosmetic Bonding ) have sparked a revolution in dentistry. Implants have many uses; the most common of which is to replace missing teeth. A dental implant is a titanium screw-like fixture that is placed into the jawbone. The implant acts like the root of a tooth and a crown is attached to it to restore the implant and make it seem like a tooth. Depending on the area of the mouth in which an implant is placed it may be restored with a crown immediately or left to integrate into the bone for 3-6 months before it is restored. Implants can be used as supports for crowns or as supports for dentures; thus providing a great deal of stability.
Restorative Dentistry
Restorative dentistry is customized treatment designed to repair damaged teeth, replace missing teeth, and improve functional structures of the mouth affecting chewing, speaking, and maintaining a relaxed and aligned bite. Dental restorations can also significantly enhance your appearance and self-confidence.

Dentures
For people who are missing all or some of their teeth; dentures and partials are a very good option. Dentures and partials are custom-made for each person from accurate impressions of their upper and lower jaws. Dentures are for those people who are missing all of their teeth or are missing all of their teeth in either their upper or lower jaws. Dentures are made of pink plastic bases (that represent one’s gums) that hold very life-like teeth in them.

Dental Implants
Dentures and partials are both removable appliances/prosthesis; therefore, they must be taken out and cleaned daily. Given the fact that dentures and partials are a removable prosthesis, they are stable but nothing like one’s natural teeth. Implants can be placed to help stabilize dentures and partials. In fact, studies have revealed that dentures provide only 10% of one’s natural chewing efficiency, partials provide 40% of one’s natural chewing efficiency, while implant supported dentures provide 90% of one’s natural chewing efficiency.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Oral Surgery
I have ever been to. The staff will go over and above to make you feel comfortable. I had oral surgery and it was not at all like any other. No pain afterward and so far no bleeding. If anyone needs dental work Dr. Ganji is the dentist to see!

Braces
This patient’s front teeth had small gaps between them. Rather than moving her teeth with braces we were able to bond composite to her teeth and close the gaps to create natural looking teeth with no gaps between them.

Teeth Whitening
Whitening of teeth can be achieved by using a whitening material in a tray that is custom made for each individual. Whitening can remove the common coffee, tea, and tobacco stains from teeth. Whitening can also be effective against some dental stains caused by prescription medications that are more internal to the teeth; i.e. tetracycline.
