Miss Ruth has 30 years of experience and is now using a new revolutionary piano method that will have everyone playing from day one. Incorporating current research and her own 30-years experience in music and child development, Miss Ruth strives to combine the best music learning methods found in Orff, Kodaly, and Delacroze and Suzuki. Ruth Michaelis has been teaching music , movement, and drama in the Spokane area for 35 years. She is certified with a BA in Special Education from Gonzaga University. Ruth was a soloist, vocal coach, worship leader and drama and music director for 20 years. She produced and directed over 50 musicals during that time with children, youth and adults. Her past 16 years have been devoted to teaching music and movement to Preschoolers through 6th graders. She also caters to adults eager to start learning the art of playing the piano. Ruth is A certified Simply Music Teacher . There are four distinguishing features that separate Simply Music from other, traditional programs: * The quantity of music that students learn * The quality of music that students learn * How quickly the students learn to play * How easily students learn to play Shared lessons are very dynamic, interactive and fun.
