I would rate it minus if possible.
I took my vehicle in to have the trans replaced with a certified rebuilt with 3 year 100K mile warrantee. He has wasted two days trying to sell me on rebuilding my existing trans with an 18 month 18K mile warrantee for MORE money than the rebuilt! Now he is looking to his vendors to do what I originally wanted! But I applied for financing and he tried to sell me on rebuilding my original trans for that exact amount which was $700 MORE than the rebuilt with LESS warrantee!

This is the WORST place to take a car they told me it would be ready in 2-3 days turns out it was 3 weeks all I needed to have done was break pads replaced tune up AND have a tail light fixed which should all be under $150 turns out they replaced all kinds of CRAP WITHOUT ASKING ME THE OWNER so I show up to get my truck when it FINALLY gets teady turns out they charged me $800 AND THEY DIDNT EVEN TOUCH MY TAIL LIGHT IT STILL IS KNOCKED OUT WITH NO REPLACEMENT. Since they did not call me to find out if I wanted the EXTRA WORK done for EXTRA money it seems like it would be a SCAM what would happens if I went to pick my truck up and I didn’t have $800 to pay them well then I would be out of a truck that’s work I did not agree to have done they did the work and then told me it had to be done so they just went ahead and did it saying they did not need my permission so I was FORCED TO PAY FOR WORK I DID NOT NEED IF I DIDNT PAY I WOULD NOT GET MY TRUCK BACK THESE ARE THEIR WORDS NOT MINE I will never recommend anyone to these crooks and if I hear of anyone I know trying to go there I will do everything in my power to stop them

I called Aamco 11/27/07 and was treated very rudely over the phone by the manager. I would suggest that someone be hired that has more people skills and would not discourage potential customers.
