        ​Phil is a passionate and devoted advocate for mental health. After studying English at the undergraduate level, he received his master’s degree in social work. As a licensed clinical social worker in the state of New Jersey, Phil aims to help clients through challenges and always approach therapy and the therapeutic relationship from a position of empathy and understanding. Phil believes that all clients have a unique life story and that it is within this story that healing begins. Using a client-centered approach, Phil’s goal is to be a fellow traveler with the client through whatever unique challenges or problems present themselves. Phil has experience treating clients struggling with anxiety, depression, panic attacks, behavioral issues, and emotional challenges related to family and life circumstances. He has also worked in group and individual settings with children and adolescents.
