I was asked to review the company and must say I agree with the others here. The men were well trained and experienced , the office also very helpful with scheduling and making sure the crew arrived as agreed , they called 1/2 hour before arrival also as they had promised. The men were very clear with their explanation of what our issue was and what was needed to repair our lights . The electricians gave the cost in advance so we knew what we would be paying and they stuck to the price. We were quoted a 45$ troubleshoot fee and that fee was applied to the cost of the job so i reality we did not pay the fee as it was absorbed into the final cost, that was appreciated. I must say, I give them an A+ for service, Knowledge, Being on Time and Cleaning up behind themselves . So my review is A+ , 5 stars .

What a great service company! They were recommended by a friend at the FOP Lodge 5 in Philly and they lived up to the recommendation. We had also checked them out here & online . We needed a 100 amp service and they saved us over 500$ from what 2 others wanted. We were extremely pleased and will pass out their cards & name to all that need electrical work. Perfect job from start to finish and very easy to talk to . They also took our credit card on the spot and gave us a 10% discount as a firefighter. Good deal, good job ! Guys are great , right on time , Did just what they said for the price quoted upfront. Very fair , very neat and extremely nice and cordial. Cleaned & patched 2 small holes that were needed up even better than expected . The best I have found and I deal with Electricians all the time as a General Contractor . I will be in touch again. Saturday we had work completed by Affordable Electric Inc. We called at 8am and by 9am they were at our home , by 11am they were completely finished and everything was perfect , could not ask for more from a contractor . We were pleased with the service & price . Very good .

We are on the 1600 Block of Forrest avenue and had Mario & Greg here to do our lighting last week and I want to say they did a fantastic job ! I was asked to review Affordable Electric with a card I got in the mail so here it is : on 5/1/12 we had Service from Affordable Electric to replace our fuses with breakers and install 2 ceiling fans. We were pleased with the service and pricing was very good , we were given our price upfront and paid by Visa Debit Card right there so I didn't have to go to the bank and pay cash as another guy wanted. We were very comfortable with letting the men work in our home and they were neat & clean. They did run about 45 minutes later than their estimated time of arrival but the Office made sure they called and let us know they were running behind due to traffic in the city, thats understandable as we live off of City Line ave and the Traffic is a nightmare most days. All in all we are very satisfied and appreciate the service from Affordable Electric Inc . Mr Bill Mc Williams , Phila. Pa.

The electricians from Affordable Electric just left my home . I was asked to review them and I am I am pleased to write this . I called at 7:30 am and spoke to Marty, he explained everything from the basic 45$ to troubleshoot , it was a one time fee and was included in the cost of my repairs. Our lights were out in most of out home . Within 1 hour they had found the problem and had everything back on. Neat , clean and efficient . Very cost & consumer friendly . Cost was $245 for the new line to the lighting circuit and breaker .Repair final cost was was $225. total ,after I used my Coupon . I paid on my Debit card right there on the spot and I could not be more pleased. I had a rep from Lowry Electric out for this and their price was $545 for the exact same problem . I hope all that need electrical repairs read this and know just how pleased I am with my choice of Affordable Electric .

. Affordable Electric Inc. proved to be very professional, efficient, and trustworthy. I had substantial electrical work to do after buying my house . Affordable scheduled me quickly and completed all the work in one day. They communicated the status of the project to me several times and did a great job cleaning up when they were done. I came home to completed high-quality work and absolutely no mess. I would recommend them without reservation to all that need Electrical installations or repairs.

This is the first time I have used Affordable Electric Inc.for electrical repairs...as a first time customer I was very pleased with their expertise, their professional work ethics which included cleaning up the small debris from the job..plus they were more than willing to answer any other questions and they were very reasonable with their price ..Affordable Electric will be referred to my friends and family .

My father had a 100 amp cable changed with a meter and breakers and he was really bragging about how good the guys were , he asked me to write this so I did. Mr Wayne Garcia , East Falls Pa says a big thanks .

Called and got an appointment next day. Didn't show up during the morning window they gave me. I was home all day. I called them and got the answering service. They called me back at 12:45 to tell me they do not service my area. What? Then why did the guy in the office tell me no problem, see you tomorrow? Big fail. Beware.

A brief writing about our job with Affordable Electric Inc : We had our service cable replaced along with a new board to replace the 6 breaker system that came with the house. We also had the entire kitchen re-wired since we had walls down While they were doing what we agreed to, they also fixed a few things upstairs that were just wrong. They hooked us up with an outdoor outlet, and also discovered a serious fire hazard a previous owner had hidden inside the walls.



I won't go into to many details about all the extras they helped us with but I will say thanks . All I will say is they are about as stand-up as you will find. They did what we agreed to, for the price they set. And in the process they fixed a few other things to make sure our home was safe. They were clean, friendly, efficient, Affordable Electric was also almost 750.00 less than the other estimates we got. Saving money is a great thing , like they say " Why Pay More " ?

Recommend to all. My Mother had a 100 amp housepower electrical line and panel put in and the fuses taken out last week by affordable electric . We got 3 prices and they were the best of all of them and they did our job in 3 hours the same day. Mom was very happy and already gave their cards out to our cousins.

Nice men and a good job. I had a very pleasant experience with their service at our home on Saturday 3/24/12 and will use them again .

We are a business located in center city Philadelphia. I called Affordable electric and made an appointment (giving our address) to inspect and give us an estimate for an electrical problem that we had. I was given a service fee rate for the inspection, and was told that if we used their services for repair, the service fee would go towards to repair costs.



The day prior I had to cancel the appointment, but said I would call back to reschedule. Over the next week, I called and left three messages with no return call. I was finally told by a gentleman from their office, once he found out that I lived in center city, that there was no way that any one at there office would have agreed to come out and do an appraisel, That if they had to find parking and bring their equipment, they would only do repairs and nothing less.



I estimated that my electrical issue may be extensive and costly. So I asked how am I to compare and ensure the best rate for me? Also, that I was surprised that he would turn away a potential customers. He said, he didn't care if the job ended up being $100,000, they would not come out unless they were there to do the job!!! Really???

We just moved to a new home and had Affordable Electric update our outlets, switches and our breaker service . They were very affordable very quick and the work was just what was expected. We read these reviews before we hired them and we were not disappointed . The previous reviews were right on. Thanks affordable electric and yp.com for helping us hire a quality company .
