        Trans-Jordan Landfill operates a landfill operation based in South Jordon, Utah. Operational since 1958, the firm specializes in waste disposal, separate green waste disposal for recycling, sale of woodchips, mulch and compost, recycling, household hazardous waste acceptance and presentations. In cooperation with Granger Energy and Murray City, Trans-Jordan Landfill Corporation also produces electricity for over 3,000 homes. Its service area includes Draper, Midvale, Murray, Riverton, Sandy, South Jordan and West Jordan. Through household hazardous waste collection facility, the landfill collects residential-household hazardous waste products.
