Community Memorial Healthcenter, also known as CMH, is a community-owned, nonprofit hospital. Founded in 1954, the hospital is a 280-plus-bed facility. It offers cardiovascular diagnostic and hospice care services. The hospital provides physical, emotional, spiritual and practical support solutions for patients. It offers colonoscopy, gastroscopy, sigmoidoscopy and esophagoscopy treatments. Community Memorial Healthcenter is accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital is affiliated with Chase City Primary Care, Clarksville Primary Care and CMH Women's Health Services. It works in alliance with the Duke University Health System and the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System. The hospital maintains a laboratory that offers hematology, microbiology, serology, histology and cytology services. Community Memorial Healthcenter also operates CMH Foundation.
