We live walking distance from this theatre and are the kind of customers a theatre would want; We like to see a movie in a theatre every weekend, we buy giant popcorns, giant drinks and bon bons every visit. We pay full price. But no more trips to this theatre. Every time we go it gets colder and colder to the point it now feels like we're sitting surrounded by ice. Last night, for two hours I sat huddled with my better half. I had on; three warm shirts, a warm jacket, jeans, socks, shoes and brought a coat. All that was still not enough. We both sat huddled under my coat trying to keep each other warm. This is the usual. Again, I complained to management and was told "Well, the air conditioning guy says it's set right." When our conversation continued I could tell the manager had heard complaints before. He told me the exact temperature and knew which theatres were the least freezing. In other words; he'd had this conversation many times with people. My better half used to work with movie theatres. He said it's all about the extra cold air being blown it to keep things at 68 (already too cold). There is a way to have the air not blow down right on everyone's heads, it can be easily diverted with a little effort, but the manager made it clear nothing would be done. I said "You're not going to say anything to anybody are you?" and he laughed. We've come in to buy popcorn from this establishment without even seeing movies sometimes--so it's sad for you company we'll be driving to Santa Rosa now to see movies. You've lost a solid customer. And since chains are run with similar rules, we will avoid any theatre in your chain. We have a giant screen at home, subscribe to netflix and also have hbo and showtime. No reason to pay theatre prices to be frozen to death. What a silly way to run a theatre.
