Susan Rosenberg Electrolysis

I've been going to Susan for electrolysis for years. I started some time in college. As a result of being young and impatient at the time, I stopped going to Susan and turned to laser. What I didn't know at the time was that laser hair removal actually has the opposite effect on fine hair on the face. After 6-8 treatments with 2 different laser professionals, my original peach fuzz now grew coarse and resilient. To make matters worse, my face broke out miserably after each treatment, causing me to go into hiding every 6 weeks.



Feeling completely helpless, I went back to Susan years later and pleaded for forgiveness and mercy. She explained to me that the process will take time, but so long as I stay dedicated to my appointments she will cure me. Sure enough, 1-2 years later, I'm nearly hair free. I went from plucking extremely thick, stubborn hairs DAILY to noticing a couple stragglers here/there every 2-3 weeks. She cleared me up before my wedding on June 9th and since then I go back every couple of months for a quick touch up.



I can't emphasize enough how much Susan has helped cure me. Laser cost me THOUSANDS of dollars and in the end made matters completely worse. She also completely cured my mother who never needs to go back anymore. My experience reminds me a lot of The Tortoise and the Hare: slow and steady wins the race.

I am an African-American female who had been experiencing an increase in facial hair on my chin. It caused me to have to tweeze often and that became a nuisance! I knew that a friend of mine had success with laser treatments but heard that that was not recommended for darker-skinned people. As a result, I decided to try electrolysis. I started with Susan a little over a year ago - at first I was going once a week, and as time progressed, the frequency with which I needed treatments decreased. At this point, I only come in on an as-needed basis for "touch-ups". Susan is quite knowledgeable in what she does and I particularly appreciated that she understood the special circumstances that darker skin might have.

I am half black and half Italian and my facial hair use to drive me nuts, but thanks to Susan it is totally under control now. I use to get break-outs from tweezing my facial hairs, because the hairs would curl under the skin causing a pimple. Susan told me, 'don't ever tweeze, leave it alone and call me for an appointment.' I have listened to her ever since! And I look awesome!!



She is the Best, don't bother trying anyone else. Professional, friendly and caring.

Susan is fantastic! After trying many ways of trying to remove the hair on my face from waxing, shaving, threading, electrolysis is the way to go! Susan was the second person I saw and I appreciated her background in nursing as well. When she explained the process, she was quite knowledgeable. In order for this process to work, you must be committed. I would recommend Susan to you since her hours are flexible. Over the time coming to Susan, she has also been a good friend and mentor. She is your cheerleader when you need to hear cheers! Electrolysis takes time and commitment and to go with this process with Susan is a godsend!
