Crestwood Montessori School

Crestwood is an exceptional school. It is such a caring and stimulating environment; you immediately feel at ease and comfortable there. The teachers are excellent in understanding and motivating each child, while also creating a synergistic, harmonious atmosphere in the classroom. They take nature walks, practice yoga, put on plays, practice Spanish, and have music and sports after-school activities. Finally, the Montessori approach guarantees that children will always be progressing and learning at the levels appropriate to them in each subject area. We love this school!

This school is more concerned about image than education. There are exceptions made for the children of the director who is not at the school 50% of the time because he has another business which takes priority. Even when he is there, most of the decisions are made by his wife who is one of the teachers. There is no employee loyalty as is evident in the turnover rate of the teachers. They even fired their entire teaching staff at the end of last school year. Take caution if you choose to enroll your child.
