General Info: Sanford Medical Genetics provides patients and their families with education to help them understand how genetics effects medical conditions, inherited disease and disorders, the risks for getting a disease (like cancer) and the risks of passing along a genetic disorder in your family. We provide genetic counseling to people of all ages and focus on reviewing the specifics of a concern, risks of it occurring, available testing and management. We communicate all information in an easy-to-understand manner and are here to be an educational and emotional resource to patients and their families.
