Alliance Relocation Systems

for the past five years, I moved four times already, mostly using different companies and most of my moves does not end up so great, until my last week's move. I used Alliance Relocation Systems Inc to move me. From the start, They gave us a very accurate estimate over the phone and help us plan our move. Soon, the sales agent contacted us via phone and we went over the details. She talks politely and seemed nice, and assured us everything is going as it planned. Shortly after arriving, the manager/driver provided us with detailed information about the work and the packing they will be doing. I packed some on the boxes but I did not expect that I will still be needing some and thank GOD they have extra boxes. Actually they were well equipped. The packing obviously took much longer but once we arrived at our house they unpacked us in record time and even help us to reassemble some of our furniture. The guys were very nice and honest and they and I must say, we were extremely pleased with their service. Very fast, friendly and efficient and very professional company which I wouldn't hesitate to use again and highly recommend to everybody !

Was I surprised...and not in a good way! I recently moved from the DC area to NC. I had a small amount of items to move. 37 standard plastic containers and less then 10 pieces of furniture. When I initially made contact with this company I gave an accurate account of my items. I was quoted a price and signed a contract because the price seemed fair. Then came moving day! The three movers who came to move my items began to tell me that there were additional charges. All my boxes were already taped and sealed. I was told that I would have to pay an additional $117.00 for packing material for my bed and two small glass doors from a TV stand. I was then told that after seeing my items, I would be charged an additional $800.00 above the original $1100.00 for them to even begin to put my items on the truck. Finally, I was told that I would have to pay an additional $75.00 for 10 boxes that were in a building attached to the house. And the kicker was that the sales rep told me my items would be delivered between 3 and 10 days. The movers told me that my items could possibly arriver between 7 and 14 business days. Big difference between the two, wouldn't you say. Needing to move that day for work, I had no choice but to pay and accept the new timeline.. Beware of the HIDDEN COSTS this company will tack on on the day of the move. Beware of the double talk about moving times and time for delivery. Don't settle for a quote over the phone. Make them come to your house and explain exactly what they will charge in the end. I was fooled by the smooth talking sales rep....shame on me! I accept the responsibility for me being naive in thinking that the quote would be in the basic ballpark....However...I ended up paying almost doubled what was originally quoted to me. In the end, I paid an additional $993.00 above what was initially quoted to me.

Our move was from Maryland to Pennsylvania. They charged almost double the estimate. Added on charges for every little thing. They were late to pick up and late to deliver. They damaged multiple items, damaged the walls at our new home, delivered a lot of items dirty, and we think their storage infested our furniture with bugs. When we tried to contact them to claim insurance on our damaged items and walls, they were completely unresponsive. Did not return our calls or emails. Zero stars if possible.

I think the difference is if the delivery is local or interstate. My move was interstate and I read reviews prior to hiring this company and overall they were positive, but my experience is less so. My furniture was picked up on December 12th. I hadn't received any information from them so I sent an email asking for delivery information on December 18th. I finally wound up calling on the 20th to get information. When I told them that I had sent multiple emails before getting a response I was told I should have called. I told them that I was busy and email was easier to keep track of and was told that I must have used the wrong email address, to which I said I used the email address they wrote me from.I was speaking to Joseph and when I told him I was getting frustrated since it was 8 days since my furniture had been picked up but had no idea when it would be delivered. He said of course it would be delivered, did I think they wanted to keep it? He was such a jerk I hung up and left a voicemail for someone in sales since that was the only other number I had. They finally decided to respond to the earlier emails and said that my stuff was being loaded from the warehouse and would leave soon. Since I didn't leave my boxes in a warehouse I wanted to know where it was - they never bothered to respond to that.The delivery was made Christmas Eve in a huge truck that was clearly crammed with belongings of multiple people. The boxes I sent were almost all new and in excellent condition, the boxes I received were bent and split from being poorly loaded.The delivery man had hired a local mover to assist him. When they started unpacking they placed something that I suspected was my screen leaning on the truck and started putting stuff that was associated with a different move in front of it. I tried to tell him that I thought that it was my screen and he said 'Lady, I'm a professional and know what I'm doing." My bookcase was unloaded and when the blanket was removed it was clearly damaged. My bathroom storage unit had been taken apart (not in my presence when loaded), and a shelf on the screen had been removed but the screws were not there. His comment was that he didn't load it, it wasn't his fault. The two movers moved everything in the garage and didn't give me a chance to look things over. When I asked the driver he was going to mark down what was damaged, he said yes, which I assumed meant he would go over the boxes to mark down damage, but he got in the cab of his truck and drove off. He did not put anything taken apart by your movers back together and did not mark down any damage I found.I called them after the delivery regarding the damage and left a voicemail and they didn't respond. I finally sent them an email on the 31st to follow up and was told that the move was insured and I needed to file a claim. I filed a claim on December 31, 2012, the movers called and requested that I send them pictures on January 29 - I forwarded the earlier email to them again.On February 2nd I was notified by the insurance company that their agreement with the movers had been terminated and they would no longer be handling the claim. They indicated that the movers would be responsible for the damage. It is now April 17th and I still haven't received any additional information from Alliance despite three requests for status.

We were recommended Alliance Relocation through a common friend . I called them up and I was happy to learn and satisfy myself with the response I generated from the customer service department to move into my new place and also for relocating my massive size storage unit. The entire team was really nice and the people that work for this company are diligent to work as a team. . I found them very professional and upto the standard. . They were not very attentive in hearing our concerns which disappointed me and moreover they also arrived in 15-20 mins late

The guys from Alliance Relocation Systems were good . I actually stayed a couple of meters away from this company , so when the time to move came in our door bell rang and we attended a team of 3 movers who greeted us and just got on to their work. We had way more stuff than I'd estimated and it is always very typical of us but the guys had us moved in just a few hours and were off to their next job before I even realized that the time was up. . It was like an tropical whirlwind coming up and picking up all our stuff and put it all down gently across to our destination. Thanks guys.

We were recommended Alliance Relocation by a distant relative of ours and we decided to book them for the coming week. .I had a rough figure of the stuff that had to be be moved but it made somemore adjustments had to be made- a bed + frame, night stand, chair, big dresser, and 2 heavy boxes. We were moving from my bedroom on the second floor to the 4th floor of our new apartment! On the day of the move 3 well built guys came up and did give a spot on estimate and the range quote price came between $500 and $600, no other fees included.They did their job taking great care of our and estimate and came out with final price coming to $550 – yeh ! And, they were true to their word . Thanks.

I had to take up relocation to a new city with a new job in hand and was a little uncertain about the movers that I should hire for relocation and a colleague from office suggested I move with Alliance Relocation Systems. On the moving day the guys were on time and I found them to be hard-working and reliable. The elevator in my building had frequent problem and it refused to comply at time but these guys did manage to carry off the load on their strong backs and shoulders. .The total move tool me 3 hours time – without any complaints. The only issue I had that these guys called in several times before reaching my address and it came to me that they had a hard time in locating us.

We had an excellent experience with the guys from Alliance Relocation Systems in our recent move while moving into a new apartment in our neighborhood just a few blocks away.. On the moving day I expected them on time and they packed everything and knew their job diligently well. Not only did they pack up our stuff quickly but also with showed great care towards us and kept the tab to complete the job in the designated time . I wished if I could had used them in our previous move which went out of sync by other movers and I definetly look forward to hiring these guys again.

To get relocated in a new area sounded a hectic activity and being a banker things meant a lot more tougher and help came through a friend who recommended us Alliance Relocation Systems and they proved out to be a good moving company. My experience with them certainly was worth passing on to other people looking out to move. On the moving day they arrived on time and ,I found that they had a soft corner taking in good care of all my belongings and nothing went missing. They were professional and polite. It made our move so much easier to work with , the only problem I faced was they turned out 30 mins late and my schedule for the day got haywired as they ended up late.

I happened to be new in the town and decided to call up Alliance Relocations and by goodluck was able to get a booking with them . On the day of the move the 3 guys came in to pack my stuff the day before to my new place the next day. Since I was in such a rush to plan the move I didn't have time to reserve any parking because the guys would have to walk over my stuff half a block to get the truck and that is why I paid a lil bit more . But overall their work style definitely went well as they followed a systematic approach. Thanks guys.

The guys from Alliance Relocation Systems were decent pack of movers. I called them and made a booking for the following weekday. On the day of the move they were on time and managed to pack a huge awkward couch down a narrow 2 storey. They were quick and efficient. These guys definitely seemed to be like a safe bet through the flight of stairs. They were quick and careful too. The thing that annoyed me one of the movers in specific was a newly migrant and he was not very fluent with taking instructions and I had hard time in conveying things to him. Rest was all fine.

I really needed a mover on a budget and so something that attracted me to Alliance Relocation was the reputation they had earned and also recommendation I got from their colleague. But what really was worth my money was the service that these guys provided. Of lately I have observed this fact the movers from different companies have never seemed to be perfect in getting instructions across.. This time, my movers were a bunch of hard-working guys and they were on time and most impressively carried the load on their shoulder..I will recommend them for anyone looking forward to move.

We were recommeded Allance Relocation Systems by my gym friends. Serving all my life as a fashion cartoonist I had to find myself a new dwelling as my contract with the company came to an end and find a house was essential and alongwith it came the responsibility of relocating.I booked them up and the and my concern was focused the crappy sofa, loads of books, and some heavy metal furniture - and as a member I owed the responsibility of preserving it., . The movers were honest and we appreciated their hard work and the ease with which they made a tough task go like a breeze. Thanks guys.

Alliance Relocation Systems provided us outstanding service. From start to finish, working with these guys was a pleasure and a wonderful experience. Professional , customer service and good with their job. Initially my husband and I thought we could move ourselves since we didn't have that much 'stuff' in our 800 sq ft apartment. We lined up a friend, and later decided that we were going to want professional moving help since our current place had an elevator and our new place had 3 full flights of stairs. They were as quick as you could possibly be with three flights of stairs, and extremely careful with our stuff. We will use these guys for our next move!

I recently moved and was looking for a moving company that wasn't expensive but did good work. These guys were referred to us by my brothers girlfriend and they were great. They worked quickly and all of our stuff made it here in the same condition we left it in. We were moving to the top floor of a 4 story building which did not have an elevator and these guys motored thru everything. We have really expensive furniture and it was not damaged at all. I saw that some other reviewers keep mentioning day-labor, but I did not get that impression at all. They definitely had accents, but it was not an issue. They do charge for materials. We had three and a half hour move and the final bill came out to $315.50 for 2 guys and a truck. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

I called up 2 other movers and received higher quotes and I decided to go with Alliance Relocations not only because of the price but also because they had moved a few others into my new building. I figured they knew the lay of the land and it would make it easier. It actually helped a lot. Not only did they finish on-time (they had a strict adherence with their allotted schedule) . The customer service dept from Alliance Relocations has always been very cordial on the phone and the service felt very personal. Alliance Relocations quoted us x amount for our 2 bed/2 bath move, while it actually came out to be a little more but who knew we had that much crap until it was actually all packed up into boxes?. I still recommend Alliance Relocations.

I used Alliance Relocations on a recommendation of a distant relative. On the day of the move the movers were on time, efficient and got the job done in a day. They complimented us with things like wardrobe boxes and pads which certainly is not a part of their deal so we din??t really insist but they happily provided us .. The crew was great! The team of movers were also very helpful in the initial process and followed up. They are very professional on the phone and were quick to go over all necessary details prior to the move. Not a scratch on anything!

Movers always make me nervous, but these guys really put me at ease. Highly recommended.

The crew arrived on time, navigated their way through a chaotic house with all my stuff, loaded it into their truck, and brought it up the stairs into my new apartment in less time than they'd quoted, and under budget. They were cheerful, polite, super helpful, and more than competent. This has been by far the least painful move I've ever made, and I've moved A LOT. I would definitely recommend Alliance Relocations for anybody who needs to move.

The guys from Alliance Relocation Systems rock! They were friendly and totally helpful. I felt safe by having them relocate us. . I'd heard major tales about movers not completing all the chores and leaving the task unfinished but these guys finished up what was expetedout of them,. The total move came out a lil expensive than I'd planned out but it came in under the original max budget and the guys were always on-the-go. I really liked their moving service and they came out to be a helpful bunch of guys. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking forward to move.
