        Dr. Bidani is an excellent doctor and I trust him more than any other doctor I've had. I read the review about the spleen issue the lady had and am very sorry that happened to her. But I do not feel that Dr. Bidani should have been bad-mouthed. Obviously she already had something going on in her body that this could not be avoided. Dr. Bidani saved my life when I had to be admitted for a small Bowel rupture. He knew exactly what needed to be done and how to treat my condition. He has given me good advice and 9 times out of 10 people will not follow their doctor's advice. But if you do, even when conditions are bad already, they will improve. You've got to try. I highly respect Dr. Bidani and his work and he will continue to be my doctor.

        During a routine colonoscopy on May 8, 2014 Dr. Bidani ruptured my colon and claimed the colon skin had thinned out so much so much that this happens to one out of 500 patients. EMS took me by ambulance to the hospital for emergency surgery to remove 6-8 inches of my colon. My digestive system was not improving so I went to another GI specialist for a 2nd opinion which was "the colon does not thin and this rupture occurs in on out of 10,000 patients. I wonder if there are others not posting reviews as the 2 women whose spleens were ruptured. Think Dr. Bidani should at leas pay our exorbitant medical bills because no amount of money will pay for our pain and suffering caused by him.

        Dr A J Bidani ruptured my spleen during a routine colonoscopy, when I woke, I was in a great deal of left shoulder pain, but the staff told me to pass the gas and tried to get me up to get dressed. I was dizzy, but they dressed me anyway and then I passed out. When I came to, I was receiving fluid, ice pack on my abdomen and the doctor said "maybe I bumped her spleen". I did not stabilize and was rushed to the ER, in shock, bleeding internally, received 2 units of blood and my spleen had to be removed. This complication is exceedingly rare and happens because excessive force is applied to the colonic-splenic ligament during the scoping of the transverse colon. It is not even listed in the informed consent document he had me sign. I am left now without a spleen, a compromised immune system and paying the medical bills he caused.
