Ballard Inflatable Boats

It was time to purchase a new inflatable and motor to replace our old one. We came to Ballard with all the details of what we were looking for. We were greeted by a great sales guy and given advice and options. We are so thrilled with our choice and am so glad we were able to be advantaged by their vast experience.

I have been doing research on the best dinghy to suit my needs for the past 2 months on the internet. While calling different businesses during my search, I mentioned the type of dinghy I was looking to buy. Not surprisingly, everyone told me to call Ballard Inflatable Boats. Everyone was right!

Checked out my outboard quickly and efficiently. Helped me choose lubes and a few extra parts. Immediate good service and quick turnaround.

I have known about Ballard Inflatables for a long time. I took my old wood boat in to have a new dinghy and davit installed on the transom. They took the time and effort to make sure it was done properly AND correctly. There was no throwing the thing together, on to the next for me. Mine was a very custom job and I would bring my boat back. Ed has been very helpful in making sure I am happy with the work. The shop front is small, but the work area out back where they take care of the boats is amazing. Yes, you might have to wait a minute or two, but they are there to help. As I was writing my order, another customer came in needing a very small part for something and they went above and beyond to locate what he needed. Ed is knowledgeable and knows his offerings. I'd recommend him and his shop to anyone.

Ballard Inflatable has taken great care of our family and our inflatable boats and motors for many years. We had a complex problem of fitting our new inflatable dinghy to our transom. The crew custom fitted the new AB dinghy (which was great) and it fit and worked perfectly. They keep careful records of your purchases so if you need serial number many years later (as we did) they were able to retrieve this information super efficiently. Recently, when our Yamaha outboard had its fuel system in complete shutdown from a local batch of contaminated marine fuel, Ballard cleaned up our engine and fuel system and now the engine runs great.

We have had 10 years of exemplary service from this long time, family owned business in Ballard. Keep up the great work!

I have been in the market for a new inflatable for quite some time and have done some casual researching for a good deal. I decided on a whim to stop by Ballard’s on the way home from an errand to just peruse their selection. I didn’t expect to buy anything, much less a boat that day. The team and I really clicked, and before I knew it I had purchased a boat that had been months in the making. They set me up with all the necessary equipment and expert advice. Happy to say I’ve been boating around now for quite some time and am working on my sea legs. Happy boating!

I was curious about paddle pricing, they were very helpful and friendly. Ended up finding what I was looking for and appreciate them not pressuring me into anything I didn't need. Will absolutely go back next time I need anything!

I would not recommend this company, but if you do go there for repair work, be sure to get an estimate in writing. They quoted me $700 and the actual bill was $1200. I didn't even get a phone call saying it would cost more.
