The Saratoga Springs Fire Department is a fully paid, professionally staffed department that offers patient transportation, emergency medical, dispatching, and fire suppression, rescue and inspection services. It is a member of the New York State Professional Fire Fighters Association and the International Association of Fire Fighters. The department has a staff of more than 50 employees. The Saratoga Springs Fire Department has a fleet of engines, brush trucks and tower ladders. The department also supports several civic and nonprofit groups and youth and school organizations, such as the American Cancer Society, American Lung Association and Saratoga Care Foundation. It is a part of the city government of Saratoga Springs in New York.
