Purchased a truck on 6/19/18, before purchasing the truck had Ray's garage do a diagnostic, paid 45 dollars for the diagnostic and was told the truck was in good condition. Needed new tire's and an oil change, but besides that was in good condition. I was referred there by the guy who sold me the truck, and the entire time him and the technician we're acting like good friends which I thought was strange, but based on this information, purchased the truck. The next day 6/20/18 went and attempted to get an oil change, during this had the shop do a courtesy inspection for me, imagine my surprise when I received new's the vehicle was barely safe to drive and had things that needed to be replaced immediately. Was given a 3500 dollar bill the day after getting an all clear from Ray's Garage. Called the garage, spoke to the same technician named Steve and he told me the company who told me there was damage lied and gave me the owner of Ray's garage's email. Went and got a third quote from a auto mechanic that I have known my entire life and from his was told everything the second company told me about the damage, plus more. This truck that I purchased and have driven three time's is barely safe to drive and was given a green light by Ray's garage. Have contacted the owner multiple times with no response and am getting stonewalled at the shop. NEVER go here even with the good reviews, because either they didn't look or blatantly lied to me and I'm now stuck with a 5000 dollar repair bill on a truck that I've owned less then a week.
VERY DISHONEST!!!!! DESOTRYED MY TRUCKS WHEELS!Yesterday I went to get my truck washed. I have a flat black wheel on my truck. They asked if there was anything they could focus on and I said my wheels. Some kid cleaned them and they looked good, then some other guy came out with STEEL WOOL and some chemical that he had to wear gloves with and took most of the finishing off my wheels!!! I asked a worker who that was and he said it was the CAR WASH MANAGER CODY!!! I was appalled, so I waited to see if Cody would tell me what he had done. Instead he got another shiny chemical to cover up his mistake and when he got me he acted like it never happened! Instead he bragged about things that where never checked off or done! Not worth the time or money if they only lie, and cant take fault for their mistakes. VERY DISHONEST PLACE!!!!
Amazing team. Between Jessica's outstanding triage and clerical skills and Troy's Keen eye for troubleshooting and repairing vehicles I am always comfortable I will get the best care for my not-so-easy to work on Jeep. I had always felt somewhat Leary and unsatisfied at the dozens of other mechanics and dealerships I had dealt with in the past.but I completely trust their diagnostics skills, attentiveness and service quality. It's easy for people to write bad reviews when they are frustrated with their vehicles and not happy when their car expensively misbehaves. But I have had many repairs done here and elsewhere and I state it as a fact... You won't get better car care anywhere!
Never go here. Such rude employees didnt give a crap about me or my car. Treating me like a burden! Ill never recommend this place to anyone.
Don't ever go here! The manager, Gunder, is very unprofessional. They have no concern for their customers' vehicles. They got oil all over our steering wheel and hood (damaging our PlastiDip wrap paint job) and will not own up to it nor work toward a resolution when we confronted them. Spoke to a Sandy police officer and he knows of this place and Gunder well and recommends we never go back. Still awaiting to hear back from owner on resolution. I've never had to leave a business review like this before. Beware where you take your vehicles.
Last week i made an appt on line (so easy, yay!) for a safety/emission check with Sandy location. They got me right in. While there, i was so impressed with the employees that I asked for an oil change also. Upon safety inspection, they discovered that my upper engine mount was completely broken. Gunder showed me the part, which I always ask for now, because as a female, I have been taking advantage of many times in the automotive industry. He gave me the best deal they had and was so kind. It was repaired very quickly. Of course my air filter was shot too, etc. These guys showed me everything and patiently answered/explained any questions I had. Gunder us very upfront and honest and helpful beyond call of duty. Other employees were quick, thorough, and friendly. Being new to SLC this summer, I am thrilled to have found an auto repair place I feel I can TRUST. Kudos!! And THX!

Never never never go to National Auto Plaza. The classic stigma of car salesmen being scammy, scummy, cheaters is not only exemplified in the people I encountered there, but that is only multiplied. National Auto Plaza hid information about my car as a young, first-time car buyer that I found out later. They overcharge, they lie, and since I have been to other dealerships I now realize their service is also well below par; in fact it is just plain terrible. A warning to all consumers, if you want honest, fair, and friendly salesmen, then any, literally any, car dealership would be a better choice than National Auto Plaza. For your sanity, financial security, and overall happiness, please please please do not step foot in this dealership. I would also encourage every other person who has had a terrible experience to not only review that here, but to also report that to the BBB, as it is pitiful to have such a dishonest company be a representative of our community.
By far this is the best, most honest auto repair facility I have ever used, including dealerships. The mechanics are honest, knowledgable and fair, and never try to upsell expensive or unnecessary repairs. FANTASTIC place.
