Dr. Ana Rodriguez received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of California at Irvine in 1978. After earning her medical degree, she was commissioned by the United States Air Force and served her first tour of duty in Italy as a general medical officer. She was then accepted to the Wilford Hall Medical Center in Texas for a residency in dermatology. During her service of eight years in the Air Force as a flight surgeon and dermatologist, Dr. Rodriguez pioneered military usage of lasers in dermatology. After transferring to the Air Force Reserve, she returned to Texas. In 1987, she began her dermatology practice in San Marcos. Dr. Rodriguez is board-certified in dermatology, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a fellow of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. In addition, she has conducted Dermatologic Laser Surgery procedures since 1985 and holds numerous credentials in laser surgery. ‍‍‍Dr. Rodriguez routinely performs a variety of rejuvenation treatments such as CO2 fractional laser resurfacing along with Botox® and fillers. She is very skilled at body contouring procedures including laser-assisted lipolysis and tumescent liposuction. She combines technical ability and an artist’s sensitivity to ensure the best cosmetic results from all procedures. With the understanding that everyone is unique, multiple lasers and state of the art equipment are used to ensure the very best results‍‍‍. All procedures are conducted in the comfort of the beautiful 3500 square foot facility.
