Teeth Cleaning
During your regular exam, your dental hygienist may recommend professional teeth cleaning. Your day-to-day eating and drinking habits can lead to plaque build-up on your teeth and around the gums. So, this cleaning may still be necessary despite a solid brushing and flossing routine.

Crowns
Dr. Olivares has intimate knowledge and extensive skill in oral implantology and related surgeries including advanced hard and soft tissue augmentation procedures such as sinus augmentation and bone regeneration. She has trained extensively in periodontal plastic surgery, procedures such as esthetic soft tissue grafting, and crown lengthening.
Bridges
Less expensive restorative procedures such as a denture or dental bridge require repair or replacing every 5-10 years, whereas modern dental implants are state-of-the-art and can last a lifetime with proper care and maintenance. Restorative Dentistry
Dr. Kirk Pasquinelli received his doctorate in dental surgery from the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry (UCSF). He completed a general practice hospital-based residency at Mount Zion Medical Center and remained on the hospital dental and training staff while also practicing restorative dentistry in San Francisco. He received his periodontal training at the University of Washington in Seattle.

Gingivectomy and Gingivoplasty
Occasionally, patients can suffer from long, thick gums that make their natural teeth look short. This can occur for a number of reasons, such as inflamed or diseased gums. The good news is it can be treated with a gingivectomy. A gingivectomy begins with the affected areas being numbed. Deep Cleaning

Dentures
Metal or plastic partial dentures are a more robust option. These are removable for your convenience and are held into place by wire clips.
Overdentures
Implant-supported overdentures are attached to a series of dental implants. Each implant is topped with an abutment-based attachment to hold the overdenture into place. These dentures require a good amount of healthy bone and are removable. The connection for the implants to the denture could be a bar, ball, or magnet.

Dr. Pasquinelli and Dr. Olivares have enjoyed advanced training, allowing them to perform the actual implant surgery, initial tooth extractions, and bone grafting if necessary. They work alongside oral and maxillofacial surgeons and your restorative dentist.
Ridge Augmentation
Bone Grafting
Soft tissue grafting is used to cover over damaged tooth roots, reduce gum recession, and protect the roots from decay. These can be issues after tooth loss and can lead to the appearance of aging and unattractive indentation on your gums or jaw. This treatment can be improved further with bone grafting.

Orthodontics
Your frenum connects your lips to your gums at the front of your mouth (upper and lower). If this muscle attachment is not positioned correctly, it can cause gum recession (if it pulls) or even prevent a space between your front teeth (if too large).
